A bead of sweat ran down the side of his face as another shift of the kunai in his hand rang through the forest. With the wind rubbing against his face, he appeared calmer. His raven hair was partially blown back. He moved quickly and jumped, dodging the deadly kunai that passed below him.
He swung his hands forward, tossing the ten kunai in his hand in a different direction. He vanished in an instant and reappeared behind a dummy hidden behind the tree. He made a series of hand signs before unleashing a massive fireball that shattered the dummy into innumerable pieces. He vanished and reappeared on top of a wooden bark. Taking off.
He became aware of the presence of ten of his clones close by and went on high alert. keeping a close eye on When he heard the sounds of projectiles cutting through the air toward him, his head snapped to the left, and he saw them, he contemplated ways to dodge them before He took out his sword and gracefully deflected each of them. Naruto ducked to the left to avoid a kick to the face from a clone in the air. He swung his right arm, which held the blade, forward to split the clone in half, but it was blocked by the clone with two kunai.
Naruto pushed him back a little, then used the opportunity to deliver a roundhouse kick to the clone's face with his right leg, sending the clone flying away before bursting into smoke. Before vanishing, he closed his eyes and pinpointed the exact locations of all the clones.
He appeared behind a clone hiding behind tree bark, split him in half, and then vanished. He repeats this process until he has eliminated eight of the clones before realizing he has little time to complete his task and returning to his main objective.
He flashed through the forest and appeared in front of a stone holding a piece of paper with the kanji "MISSION COMPLETE" written on it. but not before he had a chance to grab it. A large fireball erupted from his back, and he cursed under his breath before unleashing a blinding bomb and killing the remaining clones, which also burned the paper.
"Wow, I'm taken aback." Naruto, you've certainly come a long way. "I never imagined you could accomplish so much in just 8 years, but you appear to have proven me wrong." The young boy was congratulated by a tall man with long, spiky black hair that reached his lower back. He was walking toward Naruto, who was catching his breath, with both of his Sharingan spinning wildly.
"I appreciate the compliment, Obito-Sensei," Naruto said this while bowing slightly in respect to his master and brother figure.
Obito chuckled at the boys' manners before cringing at his own when he was Naruto's age. "Don't worry about it," now that you've mastered the tree-walking and water-walking exercises. That's sufficient for a chuunin, but because your chakra reserves are above Kage level, they're extremely difficult to control. "I need to make sure your chakra control is near perfect so you can adapt to most techniques quickly, which will help you save chakra in your techniques. "Not that you need it."
Naruto nodded and took the paper from Obito. "What is this?" he inquired calmly. as his new assignment, analyzing the paper."
"This is known as chakra paper," Obito replied.
Naruto raised one of his eyebrows" a chakra paper?" Naruto asked with confusion
"This is a piece of paper used by ninjas to calculate their chakra infinities. If you apply chakra to paper and it tears it in half, your chakra infinity is wind. If the paper cracks, then lightning is your chakra infinity. Fire, earth, and water will be present if the paper burns, turns to dust, becomes wet, or burns."
Obito elucidated. Naruto was asked to try by him. As he focused his chakra on the paper, Naruto nodded. Three pieces of the paper split; one burns up, one crunch, and one turns into water. When the paper reacted, Obito's eyes widened and a smirk spread across his face.
On the other hand, Naruto became even more perplexed and made the decision to express himself. "What happened?"
The paper splits into three pieces, signifying wind; the first piece burns, signifying fire; we already know that the second chapter signifies lightning; and the final piece turns to water, obviously signifying water; thus, there are a total of four affinities. Obito was finished. "Although water is anti-fire," he continued, "I wasn't expecting it, but it's a good thing anyhow."
Astonished by his own skills, Naruto's eyes widened. He has four natural affinities, which enable him to master a significant portion of ninjutsu and push them to their maximum potential. Only elite jounin level ninjas have two affinities, and even then, their natural affinity is stronger than others. ]
To once more get Naruto's attention, Obito cleared his throat. "I'll start instructing you in the fundamental offensive and defensive jutsu for each of your affinities starting tomorrow. but I'll buy you ramen for today in exchange for your good improvements." Obito turned away and started walking in the direction of their house.
Naruto's face grew up in a smile. Boy he loved ramen.
Okay, I know. The chapter was short and sweet, but hey, it was just a prologue, and I wanted to test my writing skills and see how I could put my imagination into words, but this was low effort, and I admit it. but in defense of myself, this chapter isn't really in the original sequence of my chapters, but I wanted to give you guys a little information about the fic, but not too much, because it can lead to my fanfic falling apart. And thanks to this chapter, I will not have to write an entire 5,000 word chapter just explaining unnecessary things that would waste both of our time, so yeah.
Please leave a review on every chapter of the fanfiction, including this one, and your thoughts on it, and tell me where I can improve. Don't hold the negative comments about the way a chapter is written; tell me how to improve it, and I will appreciate it, but please don't be rude.
Btw, reviews make my hand type faster.
tc, tata!
