A few days after Sprig and Ivy had set off on their adventure, the two were on a whole new island to the south of Amphibia.
"I can't believe how different this place is," said Ivy while the two walked along a small river in the middle of a desert.
"I know, it's a lot hotter than our home," said Sprig.
"Reminds me of the deserts I learnt about back in the human world," he said.
"Man, I wish I could have been able to go there, from the stories that you have told it sounds like a fun place," said Ivy.
"It was pretty… cool," said Sprig as they reached a hillside where they looked down into a giant hole.
"Oh frog," said Ivy while looking at a large group of snake-like creatures gathered in the bottom of the hole where an oasis was.
"Today is the start of a new era for us snakes!" said one of the creatures that stood before the rest of the group. Unlike the others, this snake was wearing a robe and crown.
"For too long the frogs, toads, and newts have had it easy on their swamp island, but I say enough is enough!" said the snake.
"Yeah!" called out all of the others as they held up their weapons to the sky.
"We have to get out of here and back to the others, now," said Sprig.
"Right," said Ivy before the two rushed away back to the shore that they had landed on. However, in their hurry some sand had been disturbed which fell down into the hole.
"Your majesty, there were spies up on the dune," said a snake standing next to the leader as he looked over at the spot the Sprig and Ivy had been standing at.
"Let them go, even if they can tell their friends back in Amphibia, they can't do anything to us now," said the snake leader as he started slithering over to a tent that was nearby.
"As you wish, King Viper," said the other snake. Meanwhile, the Guardian had been watching from his own dimension thanks to a TV.
"This does not look good," he said before getting up and heading for the door to his house.
"Guess Amphibia is in need of its saviors again," said the Guardian as the door opened to reveal a portal.
