Chapter One: Mission Gone Wrong

"Ugh. This is so boring. We could be helping instead of just standing here doing nothing." Robin says as he and Alexis are doing crowd control as the others are fighting the villains.

"We're not doing nothing Robin. This way everyone." Alexis says as she is leading people towards safe directions.

"Oh I'm sorry. I didnt count babysitting." Robin says annoyedly.

"Look if they need us they'll call us. Speaking of the devil he's coming in on our communicators now." Alexis says as Batman comes in on her and Robin's communicators.

"Robin, Rose report. How's crowd control?" Batman asks.

"Well at hand Father. As predicted they respond like contemptible sheep." Robin says as he gestures for some people to go down a direction.

"Uh Robin what's that?" Alexis asks as she and Robin see a dark red like aura around one of the villians.

"No idea. But its trouble none the less." Robin says before Batman comes in on the communicator.

"Robin, Rose get all civilians inside. Do you read me?" Batman asks.

"Yes sir. We'll get them inside at once." Alexis says.

"I have a more efficient way to keep them safe Father." Robin says as he looks at the Batjet.

"Robin wait!" Alexis shouts as Robin takes off running before he hops in the Batjet and takes off. As Alexis goes running over in wolf form she soon stops seeing an explosion.

*Timeskip*

"Robin! Oh thank goodness. I swear one of these days you're gonna give me a heart attack." Alexis says as she runs over to the others seeing Robin is okay as the others have captured the villain.

"Relax. I'm fine. Besides I thought that would knock the fight out of him. What? We got him didn't we?" Robin asks as Batman gives an unpleasant look.

"What we have is an empty shell with no answers. If you had followed orders and done what you're told we'd know more." Batman says angrily.

"Come on. Cut him some slack. At least he was trying to... Not that I disagree." Superman says as he goes over to Robin.

"You buried me in a worthless position to keep me and Alexis out of the way. And I solved the entire problem." Robin says as Alexis shakes her head.

"This isn't about you. It's about teamwork." Batman says.

"All I see is a lot of ineffectual grandstanding. Which is why I prefer to work alone." Robin says before leaving.

"Robin wait! Seriously stop running off like this!" Alexis shouts as she runs after Robin.
