A/N: Ladies and gentlemen! It is my great pleasure to introduce you to my 13th official story, "Cody and Shelby: Explorers & Lovers"! But I want to admit something first…This story was originally a "Birthday-Request Story" that was written & made by fellow Fanfiction Author, DJ Rodriguez! Y'know…The guy who helped with my story, "Delicious Pizzas & Bootylicious Cowgirl"! All the credit goes to him and deserves all the praise for making such an amazing crossover one-shot story! All I've did with this incredible story was making some slight changes and added a few extra scenes~!
Okay, now that I've got that part done…I want to let you know that this is a Total Drama X Creature from the Lake crossover one-shot story where Cody gets paired with the very voluptuous & adorable camerawoman, Shelby! In case you don't know, "Creature from the Lake" is an animated short film that can be viewed on YouTube! Now here's the plot for this amazing story~! After the events of "Total Drama World Tour", Cody got accidentally sent to the past in the late 1980s and becomes the cameraman of the monster explorer, Shelby Bliss! During their travels to search for various mythical creatures, Cody & Shelby's bond has grown stronger…Especially when our favorite tech geek is having a massive crush on her~!
Alright, before I show you the story…I just want to point out that DJ Rodriguez has worked very hard on this story by using some elements from AdventureKing2017's story, "Women's Wrestling Submission – Total Knock-Out Association" and from a movie that was one of his favorite family movies back in the day…"Harry and the Hendersons"! Being a movie from 1987, It's actually one of my favorite movies too…Not only is it both heartwarming & good, it should've won an Oscar in my point of view! Seriously, mates…One of the most underrated movies ever!
Oh, DJ Rodriguez has also looked up as much as info as he could concern areas, mythical beasts/creatures, legends, geography and much more! He is the kind of person who wants to make a story to be full of a good kind of solid substance and essence on so many levels. He always tries to aim for class and depth when it came to lemons and such! That's one of the many things I've always respected about him!
P.S. This crossover one-shot story is obviously Rated M since it involves a few lemons, language, nudity, etc…Just to let all of the younger readers in Fanfiction to be prepared and that I have warned them!

Cody and Shelby: Explorers & Lovers
The date is Saturday, October 6th 1990 in the United States of America, more specifically in the state of Washington & in the city known as Seattle. Many cars were coming to and from the city, but there was one vehicle in particular that should be noted. It was a large 1989 Dodge Caravan SE, one that was painted to orange and white. On the right side of the van, on the passenger doors were the words in bold black letters, "SHELBY MONSTER EXPLORER". And sitting in the van were two people; a young redheaded woman that was rather large in both the bust and booty area, and a young man with chestnut brown hair & a small gap-toothed smile on his face.
The buxom beauty was Shelby Bliss, a woman of about 21 years of age. Even though she was rather young at age, she had a body that was quite mature and alluring. Her breasts were quite massive, but fortunately for her so was her enormous booty that perfectly balanced it out. Pale skin that would glow in the moonlight, and also sea-green colored eyes that enhanced her natural beauty.
In the past, Shelby had low self-esteem and had been made fun of by her peers due to her breast & bottom size. Combine that with easily being frightened and needing an inhaler due to an asthma condition, she was looked down upon by many. However, it seemed her luck had changed in 1988 when she was hired by a local TV station called "DudeChannel"to be a camerawoman for a low-budget show called Jack Vs. Monsters. It featured an experienced monster hunter who went by the name of Jack Gene, one who had good looks & a god-like body with beefy muscles that would make many any lady swoon!
Shelby did her best as a camerawoman, shooting various shots of Jack doing outrageous things in his search for many mythical beasts and supernatural creatures. Despite her cowardly nature, she showed bravery by still being around to catch the action on camera.
However…Jack's real nature was revealed on camera during an episode on September 26th, 1988 where he and Shelby were at the Western Great Lakes Forest, located in the northern areas of the United States states of Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota, and in southern areas of the Canadian province of Manitoba and northwestern areas of the province of Ontario.
Very late at night, they had gone to one of the lakes in search of a creature that was said to be a humanoid fish of sort…One that had an appetite for human flesh! Or so the legend goes, spoken by the residents of the Michigan area!
The duo had gotten a wooden boat with an outboard motor, going into the center of the lake where heavy fog was covering the area. Sad to say, the motor died down and the atmosphere was making the scene quite tense for them all. Shortly after that, Shelby got spooked when she felt something upon her shoulder… A slimy green-fingered hand! She screamed in fear and ran to Jack for protection, but he quickly shoved her away. He saw that his hand was on her bosom, and he did not wish to be filed for a sexual assault charge.
Unknown to him and Shelby, the camera was still rolling as it was still situated on the seat next to the buxom beauty. She had left it on accidentally.
She had fallen into the lake, and that is where the creature's spines rose up from the water! Visible on the surface like a shark's dorsal fin, it started to swim towards them… With his target was being none other than Shelby! The voluptuous camerawoman panicked and tried to get back into the boat, but Jack put his boot on her face and started to kick her in order to prevent her from coming back in the craft! He had panicked, thinking more of his own self-preservation and was more concerned about his safety then Shelby.
Said woman managed to fight her way back onto the small boat, and she did NOT look happy at all on Jack's actions. She looked furious, and was about to give the macho-looking hunter a piece of her mind & fists… But she was frightened when rising up from the waters behind him was the creature! It was tall, a head taller than Jack, having spiny fins on the back with a little ball sack for a tail, sharp pointed teeth with two of them longer than the rest, amphibian eyes and a light-green color!
She let out a scream, causing Jack to turn around and finally face the beast. He tried to use his custom-made rifle on the creature, but he was out of ammo as he used them up earlier when he mistook a floating log for the beast! Not very impressed with Jack's actions, the aquatic monster grabbed the gun and used it as a club to knock the macho-looking hunter out. The creature started to lumber towards Shelby in order to devour her. She didn't know what to do, so in a blind panic she took out her inhaler and sprayed it at the monster!
The slick-skinned beast inhaled the air from the inhaler, which was a mistake. The inhaler had a substance called bronchodilator, which decrease resistance in the respiratory airway and increasing airflow to the lungs. However, it reacted badly with its own biology and physiology, causing it to go into shock and faint.
Jack managed to come to after being knocked out, seeing the creature out cold in the boat. He managed to get up, putting his hat on & boot on the monster's back. He told Shelby to get a shot of him with the beast, planning to take on all the credit. But this time, she refused as she did not want to give any kind of satisfaction to the one who almost ended her life.
It was a brief staring down match…Brief as in the creature managed to come back as well from its shock, waking up and easily overpowering Jack! Shelby had watched in horror as the muscled man was swallowed whole, the creature gulping him down in three swallows before turning its attention to her. It started to once again stalk towards her, Shelby backing as far as she could in the boat… And that is when a loose board from said craft rose up from one of the back steps she took, springing up with incredible speed & smashing the monster where the sun don't shine! Apparently, the creature was a male as it let out a high-pitched scream and clutched said area.
It soon fainted from the shock of being struck in the place that made it a man, Shelby looking on in fascination as she realized she had taken down the creature and seeing the camera still rolling, showing that it managed to get everything on film!
When dawn came and rowing back to the docks, she managed to situate the camera on a stand, dressed up some spare clothes that belonged to Jack including his own hat…And made the dramatic ending flair by throwing a stick of dynamite on the boat, which soon exploded and taking the creature with it in a fiery display!
And thus a new chapter started in her life!
She managed to get the video footage back to the station, in which her superiors were surprised to see the actions & demise of Jack. And also saw that Shelby had some serious potential, plus that she would be able to grab the attention of male viewers.
So it was there that Shelby started her own series, which had her going around the world in search of creatures of legend!
Miss Bliss however had a different goal then her former employer had. Instead of killing the mystical creatures she found, rather she interacted with them and showcased to the world that many were just simply misunderstood. Her show became a big hit that got prime airtime and also helped to elevate her station tremendously!
By her side was a cameraman that she met shortly after the incident with the lake creature. And that man was none other than Cody Emmett Jameson Anderson, the same one that was from the Total Drama series! He looked to be of the same age as Shelby, but gone was the lanky lad & in place was a young man that looked to be a professional swimmer or spelunker, due to his slim but muscled framework.
Now, how is it that someone from the 2000 year mark was in the 1990s? Well, it was like this…
~Flashback – May 7th 2011~
A nineteen year old Cody was walking to one of the labs at the Anderson Corporation Tower, an immense towering structure that belonged to his family. Or more specifically, belong to his mother Susan Anderson. She was an expert in the world of business, her hands in many fields of business to be exact such as music, technology, media and more. Her husband Mark Anderson was a world-famous doctor, considered a legend among the medical community and his peers. He had gone around the world helping others, and his medical talents and skills were top notch in many aspects and fields.
For some time, Cody had wished to make it out on his own. While his family name was good and all, he really wanted to be recognized for his own talents and merit. To prove to everyone that he was Cody Anderson, not just the son of the two richest & most well-respected people in the whole wide world.
He did his best in school, but sadly he often got bullied by those who were jealous due to his family's riches. It didn't help that the bullies also saw him as a weakling due to his scrawny & short stature. To add insult to injury, the girls in his school found him to be amusing but not boyfriend material. So from elementary school all the way to high school, Cody was kept at arm's length from the fine & fair opposite sex. And also the target of bullying, which ranged from having food contents dumped on his being, pranks that did mild bodily harm, to being stuffed in lockers and more.
His parents tried to help him, but Cody insisted that it would only make him look more pathetic in the eyes of every bully in his school. And also it would further solidify the belief that he would be nothing without his parents. So he pressed on, always a smile on his face even though his mother and father could see that his smile was more or less a façade…A mask that he wore, along with his Codemeister persona that he utilized. Both of them were loving parents and they respected their Cody's wishes…But they really wished they could help their son in some way.
It looked like he had managed to catch a break when he was selected to go on a TV show in 2008, which was known as "Total Drama Island"! He had signed up for the contest, leaving out who his parents were as he believed that if they found out, they would use their influence to sway the ones holding the contest. And when he was selected, his mother and father were certainly surprised to hear the news from their flesh and blood.
Cody believed that the TV series would be the start of something amazing for him…If only that poor & naïve boy knew how wrong he was!
It had been a disaster for Cody in the series, at least from his point of view. His persona had once again gotten him to put at a greater distance from the ladies, especially with one of the contestants called Gwen whom he gained an instant crush on. He was average at best in the show, only showing a few noteworthy talents/actions here and there. Out of everything, the only part that many found good was that he hooked up Gwen with a friend he made on the show, a musical fellow my the name of Trent.
And after he was eliminated from being mauled by a bear and was sent to a paradise called "Playa De Losers", he still could not get the respect & acknowledgement that he secretly craved very much…Especially not getting the girl that he was very much infatuated with from the moment he first meet her!
He was passed over in 2009, not returning officially when "Total Drama Action" started up. He was chosen to be part of the Aftermath Peanut Gallery, but that was about it. And now some time ago, he had finally come home after the disastrous & terrible event known as "Total Drama World Tour". Many all over the world had seen him being on "Team Amazon", a female team whose members consisted of Izzy, Gwen, Heather, and Courtney. However, Izzy swapped places on the team with newcomer Sierra…Who turned out to be a very clingy and creepy stalker to Cody!
The world has how the team had managed to get through challenges, but he contributed only when it really mattered. He managed to make it all the way to the finals but was eliminated by newcomer Alejandro. He had come so close and yet was denied victory.
When he had come home from Hawaii, his parents were waiting for him at the airport. And along the way, he was greeted by fans of the show who told him that he did very well in making it all the way as he did. Even though that cheered him up a bit, it was not enough to make him feel better about losing in the series.
When they arrived back home, Mark and Susan had their son sit with them for a very serious discussion. They were worried about him; concerned that his drive to stand apart from them was really messing him up in the head and in the heart. So they sat down and talked, in which Cody's mask started to crumble. It took a long time, but soon they managed to penetrate through his head that he didn't need to prove anything to anyone. He was their son, and he should not try so hard to become something that he was obviously not.
The parents were also faithful followers of Jesus Christ and told their son that perhaps the Lord had something more planned for him. Both Mark & Susan told their son that instead of trying to prove his worth…He should let things flow and let his moment come on God's timing. This had the tech geek seriously considering his parents words; he tried so hard on his own, and had come up short in almost everything. Maybe it was perhaps time to just let things go where they may, and just have faith & trust in Jesus to guide him where he needed to be.
It was a serious breakthrough for Cody, as after the conversation and thanking his parents profusely for the talk, he started to change his views. So instead of trying to be a Casanova, he started to focus more on his studies and doing what he could to help his parents out with anything…Not to mention getting in shape, such as exercising and eating healthy.
He managed to pass high school with flying colors, and now worked at the Tower as an assistant to his mother and other superiors.
And now he was walking towards the "Research and Development Lab" area, ready to get the monthly progress report updates from the various branches there.
As he passed by the testing grounds and labs there, he was always amazed on how people from various ethnic backgrounds and nationalities were there, working together to try and come up with new kinds of inventions. New items and such that were being developed to benefit mankind more in various ways; such as new kinds of drills and tools that could penetrate through dense material that normal drills could not do, putting magnetic objects on certain modes of transportation to see if they could hover & move in the air, and more.
He went to the leaders of the projects, who greeted him in a warm fashion and also handed to him their progress reports concerning the inventions they were working on.
While he was conversing with a beautiful young woman that was in charge of finding various formulas utilizing natural herbs and plants to create a kind of healing for the body, across from him two men were working on a unique project of their own. And this one involved time travel! Yes, the two male scientists were working on a concept that had been dreamt of since the late 19th century, and shown in various forms in media. The two men seemed to be obsessed with finding a way to truly go forward or back in time, researching into quantum physics and energy manipulation from books and studies that were from various parts of the world.
And from the fruits of their labor came an object they crafted themselves…The "Black Time Crystal"! They had found out first that gemstones and crystals were different; gemstones or gem is a piece of mineral, which is cut and polished and used to make jewelry or other decorations. It can be considered a crystal. However, a crystal is a solid material whose constituent atoms, molecules, or ions are arranged in an ordered pattern extending in all three spatial dimensions. It cannot be considered a gem.
Their research found that certain crystals like diamonds could be used to utilize light in many ways, and also to focus & absorb energy. They also managed to discover that one of the crystal mines in Brazil that were owned by the corporation had in its possession some black diamonds, also known as carbonados. These naturally black diamonds were EXTREMELY rare to find, thus the duo had to do some serious haggling in order to get some of it shipped to them.
But once they managed to acquire enough of the black crystals, they set out to craft them into a singular crystal piece & put it under some heavy-duty testing by hitting it with various forms of energy and radio frequencies. And the result of their two-year labor was a crystal that seemed to hum with power, and according to the notes of the scientists…Had the ability to send anything or anyone back or forward in time!
They had tested it on inanimate objects…They had yet to get the green light to try it officially on living beings. Well…To be honest, they did try it out on lab rats outside the normal work hours (And in secret so they did not get caught). The two scientists had crafted a device that would harness and focus the energy from the crystal into a laser beam. The device looked to be similar to the "Heavy Damage Plasma Cutter" from the video game series "Dead Space", apparently one of the scientists was a fan of the game series.
In any case, the device would use a white laser targeting beam to lock onto its desired target, then when the trigger was pulled…A black laser beam would shoot out from underneath the white laser and strike the rat! The rat was bathed in black energy that covered it in a dome-like structure, and after a few moments…The dome would burst, and the rat would be gone!
Since there was no blood or guts, not even ashes, they assumed that the specimen had indeed been sent through time! Forward or back, they were still working on that particular detail. There were still some bugs and such to work out.
Now they were going over their precious device, inputting software & hardware into it. They were determined to finish their project and show it to the higher-ups. They believed that a time-traveling device could be used to help solve many problems in the world, such as going back to a specific point in time to correct mistakes.
One of the scientists tried to install a software program into the device, but it seemed that a particular line of code was not being accepted. And after several failures to input, the scientist got frustrated quickly. He soon slammed his fist into the device in anger…And that is when things went wild!
The device activated, the black crystal which was visible on top of the object, spinning madly & humming with power! The two scientists panicked as their device was now active with none of the proper safety protocols and such on it, since they were still working on it! The device fired its black laser beam, the others employees in the room seeing this & reacting accordingly by yelling to anyone to get down or take cover!
The beam reflected off a mirrored surface, soon bouncing around the room as it reflected off of many mirrored objects! After it ricocheted off of a TV screen, it zoomed ahead…Which struck Cody as he was hiding behind a counter! He let out a yell of pain as the laser seemed to heat up his body, everyone now focusing on him as he rose up from the ground. He was quickly covered in a black dome of energy, and after a few moments, it exploded…And Cody was gone, nowhere to be found!
~End flashback~
And thus that is how Cody was sent back through time. He had landed in the "Ottawa National Forest", a national forest that covered 993,010 acres in the Upper Peninsula of the U.S. state of Michigan. When he came to, he had no idea where he was or how he even got there. He walked in the forest until he managed to find the visitor's center which was in Watersmeet, Michigan. It is there that he found a newspaper and discovered to his shock & horror that the date was October 1st, 1988!
He started to feel like Marty McFly did from the first "Back to the Future" movie, only there was no DeLorean time-traveling car that would take him home. However, unlike said movie character, Cody quickly knew what he had to do. One of his better traits was analyzing situations quickly, and coming up with solutions that would best fit the situation.
The young man had managed to locate a place that allowed people to use computers, the Anderson lad amazed still to be typing on something that was seriously considered old-school which was the beige-colored Apple model. It was fortunate that he took classes that studied the history of computers, along with how certain programs and such worked. And it was more fortunate that the computer had the Microsoft Office program, which Cody remembered was released in August 1988.
Using his knowledge of computer hacking, he managed to create a new identification for himself. He kept his real name but made sure to not put in his middle name & that his birthplace was in the United States & not Canada. The chestnut-haired boy also made sure that nothing would be able to link himself to his parents, whom he believed were young kids now.
After setting up his new identity was said and done, he realized that he needed to find a job to maintain himself while he would wait for any kind of conceivable kind of rescue. Again, it was a long shot, to say the least, that it was possible for him to be brought back to his own timeline. Until then…He had to make do with what he had, he utilized what needed to be done.
He made sure to erase what was stored on the computer, going into the world with nothing but the clothes on his back, which again was unusual since that kind of style was not up to par for 1980s standards. He checked the newspaper in the "Want Ads" area, again still a bit not used to doing things old-school like so. But he soon arrived at a section that called for a cameraman at a local TV station for Shelby Bliss, and that got him to remember her.
Apparently, Cody had been a fan of Shelby as a child. Or at the very least, what was shown on reruns of her show. A documentary had been aired that told of her disappearing mysteriously, on how her van was parked at the Wenatchee National Forest Park in 1990. The young lad was in his single digits when he saw Miss Bliss and instantly had a crush on her. And when he saw what Jack did to her, he had gotten angry and visualized himself punching him in the face to protect Shelby.
And now that he was in the past, he had a chance to work alongside his childhood crush! So writing down the address of the TV station, he walked over to it determined to the cameraman for Shelby.
His determination paid off when he was hired on the spot! And also that he got the chance to meet Miss Bliss, which went excellently as she was quite friendly and warm to him. Shortly after being hired, an account was set up at the bank & he was all set!
So for two years, he and Shelby had gone around the world in search of places to locate the mythic beasts/creatures of legend. Their efforts turned out to be fruitful as they found various mythical beasts; Nyami Nyami, the unique dragon/snake-like creature with the head of a fish that was considered the Zambezi river god & important to the Tonga people in Africa, the fabled Feilong dragons that existed in remote areas of China, Ipilja-Iplilja the giant gecko in Australia, the enchanting mermaid Iara in the Amazon River in South America, the wild & untamed Centaurs in Greece, and more!
Cody had done two things during his time as Shelby's cameraman. First off, he used part of his paycheck to invest in certain stocks and companies. He used his knowledge of history business, and also business logic taught to him by both his parents, to amass quite a fortune! But he kept it secret and small for a good reason. One, he knew that investing like so where it seemed he was a financial wizard would gain the attention of many characters…Some of the unsavory kind. And also, it could be used to alter the future drastically so he was quite careful in how much he invested and when.
Two, even though he could have made a HUGE killing and retired easily thanks to his knowledge from the future…He truly enjoyed working with and being around Shelby. So he used some of his own money to finance their expeditions.
During his time with her, he and her slowly but surely got together. They went on dates in the various locals they visited, also helping one another during dangerous treks across various landscapes and environments all in search for their quarry. He saved her life many times; catching her before she fell as they walked up the dangerous mountain known as Everest in their quest to find Miyolangsangma, the Tibetan Buddhist goddess who was said to live at the top of it, defending her from the lionesses of the African plains, protecting her from low-life thugs in Asia who later was discovered in running a human sex trafficking ring in which the duo had a hand in exposing, and more.
Shelby had also defended her cameraman as well from danger, especially from Iara the mermaid in the Amazon River when she tried to lure in Cody by her side when she discovered that he was truly different from all of the other men she had encountered. She wanted him for herself, but Shelby would not have it.
In fact, it was shown on camera as the catfight of the century as the two feisty females went at it in a way that was truly vicious! In fact, it had to be censored due to the brutality of it & the adult content of fine female flesh showing. Shelby had won the fight by making Iara scream out in submission, though she would be out of commission due to the numerous slash marks & bruises she received.
It was after that the two had come together officially as boyfriend and girlfriend!
And now we come to the present, in which the couple was heading toward the "Wenatchee National Forest Park" in Seattle. They were heading there to find the legendary creature known as Bigfoot who was said to reside in the forest. Cody did some research and was amazed to learn that in 1987, the creature had been reported to be seen around a suburban area of all places. Many people had claimed to see a gigantic furry being with huge feet, some even having footprints saved by casting to prove it.
Another surprise he found was that a woman that went by the name of Irene Moffitt had declared that she had seen something big & hairy in the home of the Henderson family. However, the family that consisted of George Henderson, his wife Nancy & their two kids Ernie and Sarah claimed that they never had anyone like that in their home.
Cody and Shelby did a little digging into the action that had started there and were again surprised to hear all of the things that occurred in that particular spot in Seattle. In fact, they were going on a lead in which citizens claimed to see a rather odd orange van with an unusual bump mark on its rooftop heading towards the route that went to the park. And those who had taken a look at said van claimed that they saw an unusual hair face that was imitating a police siren sound of all things.
As their vehicle made its way through the highway towards the national park, Shelby looked at her beau and stated with conviction, "This is going to be a big one Cody! I can feel it! For some reason, this has gotten me all hyped up more than the times we discovered those other creatures from around the world! Although…Still wishing we didn't find that mermaid skank…"
"I hear you on that, babe. And also, I feel hyped about this myself!" Cody replied with an excited smile, feeling energetic about the search, but for another reason. He checked his right pocket, feeling inside a small velvet-covered box that contained something very precious and dear to him. And inside the box was…An engagement ring! Yes, the chestnut-haired geek had decided to ask his full-figured girlfriend what could be the most life-changing & important decision for both of them! He was going to ask her to marry him!
Shelby looked at her man and inquired, "By the way, did you arrange everything at the park?"
He looked back to her and answered, "Yes. I rented for us a cozy cabin there. It's a bit of a hike, but considering who we are after, it's actually a bit more convenient for us since most likely Bigfoot would want to be far from humans.".
The buxom and bootylicious beauty leaned over to give him a quick peck on the cheek, making said man blush slightly from the affection. She giggled at seeing the reaction and spoke in a joyful tone, "You are just the best Cody…The very best~!"
He chuckled and replied back in a modest tone, "Well, I try to be. Now then, let's go and see what we can find!" Shelby nodded, putting the pedal to the metal and increasing the speed towards the national park!
~At the Wenatchee National Forest Park~
It was 7:30 p.m. when they finally made it to the park, the sun had set, and nighttime coming in. The stars were twinkling bright in the velvet black sky like diamonds, the moon full and lighting the entire natural area. Cody and Shelby managed to check in with the Rangers there and indeed had to drive a distance from the entrance to find their cabin. Using the directions they got, they managed to find their little abode. It was small yes, but well-maintained and cozy. It was perfect for them, and inside they had all of the necessities required to live there comfortably.
The duo unloaded their suitcases, leaving the equipment inside the van but making sure it was secured tight. Once inside, Shelby looked around to see that indeed the cabin was well-furnished. She smiled and exclaimed, "Oh, this is perfect! This is a real keeper Cody!".

~In the present~
In the timeline of 2011, it was May 21st, much activity was being held at one of the Basement levels underneath the "Anderson Corporation Tower"! A team of scientists was around a platform that looked to be something from the classic Star Trek series that involved teleportation, and standing to the side was Mark and Susan Anderson. The two had looks of anxiousness and hope on their faces, looking at the center of the platform.

But now they had what they needed to get started in retrieving their son back from the past. It was not much, but it was all they had.
So they started a new project in which they worked around the clock, which was to make a time retrieval machine. It worked around the energy signature of the two scientists' devices and would hone in on the signal of anything that had a signal as they looked through the past. It was a monumental effort, but one that Susan and Mark were willing to pay to get their son back.
The two scientists who had made the device worked around the clock as well…And also had the motivation of working non-stop, as Susan & Mark threatened to do things to them that would have them literally begging for death. It had already been two weeks since the incident, and they were missing their son like crazy.
Now back to the business at hand, the two scientists had managed to complete the necessary programming sequences. They happily declared that they were done! Oliver was the one who went to the control panel, him having the honor of starting the machine up.
He mentally crossed his fingers and stated loud enough for all to hear, "Okay now! Time retrieval… ACTIVATE!" He pushed some buttons, and pulled a lever…And the screen on the panel locked onto the time coordinates of October 7th, 1990! The middle platform of the machine came to life as arcs of electricity formed, and then a pillar of light came from it!
Mark and Susan held each other tight, hoping beyond hope that this would work. After some time, shadowy forms started to form from within the light pillar! He called out over the whirling wind and humming energy, "I THINK WE GOT SOMETHING! BE AT THE READY EVERYONE!"Indeed, many were prepared including the security team with weapons at the ready. They were not going to take the chance of something appearing that could be very much dangerous, as all of this was experimental and totally out of left field in their view.
The shadowy forms soon started to take a more solid shape… four rocky forms, and two human forms! After some moments, Oliver looked down at the screen that read the message- "TRANSPORT OF TARGETS COMPLETE". He turned off the machine, the light pillar receding back into the center of the platform…And standing now for all to see was Cody and Shelby! And the four silver stones that were near them dropped to the ground beside them.
It would later be written down that the silver stones had reacted to the invisible energy signature that was on Cody, actually amplifying it and making it easier to determine his location for the retrieval process.
Mark and Susan were frozen in awe; joyful to see their son alive, but also shocked that he looked to be older and changed. And also stunned to see Shelby by his side, looking ready to freak out any second now! Well…No one could blame her if she did, considering the circumstance and such.
Cody looked at his parents, stunned to see them. He slowly lifted his hands to wave at them, and then looked to see Shelby very much on the verge of panicking. He wrapped an arm around her, which brought comfort and security to her but not by much. Cody then looked back to his parents and said in a nervous tone, "Ummm…Hey Mom, Dad…I think we have some catching up to do…"
~Epilogue~
The time was now December 22nd, 2017, and a gentle snowfall fell on the city of Calgary, Alberta. Christmas decorations were all over the city, and the people went to and fro about their business. Many were going to the shops to do some last-minute Christmas shopping for their families, friends, and loved ones. Some were enjoying the time off from school, enjoying the snowy weather to its fullest.
At the Anderson Manor, Christmas cheer was abundant as the family was present there. All from both the father's and mother's side of the family were there…Along with the two latest additions, which were Cody & Shelby Anderson! You see, it had taken a while to explain to Shelby on what had happened. It was a lot to take in for her; that her beau was a time traveler from the year 2011, that his parents were VERY rich and influential, that he was once part of an insane TV series and now she was in the future. It had taken some time for Shelby to come to terms with everything, and also to explain what had occurred during the 1990s, early 2000's and up to the present. She relied on Cody heavily, not leaving his side much as she was still unsure about being in the future. He was patient with her, and his patience paid off when she finally was able to absorb everything as well as could be expected…And was still adamant still to marry Cody!
Mark and Susan had been surprised to learn that not only had their son been able to take care of himself for two years, but also that he managed to gain a fiancée in the process, whose inner beauty and strength matched her outer beauty as well.
During all of this, Cody and Shelby did manage to go back to his old abode in Michigan, with his parents coming too of course. When they got there, the place was run down and abandoned. But thankfully, his secret storage area was still intact and untouched! He managed to open it, and within the secret area was all of the stuff he bought during his time in the past! Cody had the foresight to cover them all in plastic before setting out on his trips with Shelby around the world.
Mark and Susan were again amazed, and also proud of their son for thinking that far ahead. The group managed to take everything from the place, putting it in a moving vehicle and taking it all back to their home in Canada.
It was during that time that Shelby and Cody got more closer together; going on dates, helping her create a new identity for her since technically she was considered dead though she kept her first name, seeing the sights and sounds of a new world in her view, and more. They had their ups and downs of course, but they managed to stay together & become stronger and more forged together. And it was on June 16th, 2012 that they were officially married!
It was an event that had the Andersons invite over friends and family, including friends of Cody from the Total Drama season! Leshawna, Lindsay, Tyler, Noah, Trent, Bridgette, Geoff, Harold, DJ, Gwen, Courtney, Beth, Katie, and Sadie had all been invited! It was something that would definitely be spoken about within their family for many generations to come.
The two turned to see the family all together, their sons playing with Mark, DJ, Geoff, and Harold while Susan was holding/cuddling little Lena with Leshawna, Bridgette, and Lindsay also doting on the little bundle of joy. The couple had spent much time with the members of the family and their friends, so for now they needed a moment just for themselves.

Cody told her that he loved Disney as well, but made sure to omit certain cartoons and shows that did not exist back then. Her surprised state increased to shock when Cody unveiled the Ports of Call they would be arriving at; Key West, Grand Cayman, Cozumel & lastly Disney's own private island known as Castaway Cay! And also the Port Adventures, which he wanted to, discuss with her first to choose which adventure they should take.

And finally would do Castaway Snorkeling with Stingray at Disney's own private island Castaway Cay, where they would don snorkel gear and head into the lagoon for self-guided snorkeling among more than 50 rays who call Castaway Cay home. They would get an up-close and personal experience while snorkeling with the Castaway Cay rays there.
They would have two days at sea, and they would be able to do anything they want. Cody had truly gone all out, so they would have some things that would be exclusive only to them.
Shelby was very much excited to be going on this kind of honeymoon, so she made sure to pack everything she would need for the trip. And shortly after the wedding, the two had hopped on Anderson's private jet towards Florida. The tech geek had long since modified the jet by putting in seats that were made for those like Shelby. Now come on, let's unpack our stuff at our Suite and we can explore the ship together. Also, I made the reservations so that we get the Main Seating dinner at 5:45 p.m. And it will be at the Enchanted Garden."
Nodding her head, it took Shelby some considerable willpower to stop staring at the Main Lobby of the ship. They took the elevator that was nearby, the couple looking at the entire splendor of the ship & also trying to find some Hidden Mickeys along the way. Cody had told her that Disney had subtle little Easter Eggs hidden in their movies and shows; one of them was finding any kind of shape that would turn out to be the head and ears of the famous mouse himself.
So they decided to make a little game out of it, which was this: the first one to find fifty Hidden Mickeys would have complete control of the other tonight for the official wedding night!
Once they arrived at Deck 12- Forward area, they went to their suit which was categorized as Category R. And when they entered their new quarters with their card keys…They saw right away why it was categorized like so, as the R truly did stand for Royal!
Shelby was just in awe at seeing how large the room was, which was about three times the size of a normal Stateroom. It had a sophisticated art deco décor that incorporated original artwork, vintage Disney hallmarks; warm wood finishes with inlaid details, elegant furnishings, and lavish marble-and-granite bathrooms to take your cruise to superlative new heights. And at looking around, it seemed that they really made the place to be like a palace.

Also, an actual movie theater called the Buena Vista Theater, and also a unique interactive game called Midship Detective Agency where one had to roam about the ship to search for clues to solve various cases. It came in three cases; easy, medium, and hard. Shelby told Cody that tomorrow; she wanted to try it out and tackle the "Hard" case which was The Case of the Stolen Show which featured the legendary Muppet crew.
They also participated in the Sailing Away Deck Party, having fun with all of the other guests on the large main deck with the Disney crew and characters putting on quite a show as the ship sailed away from the port. Mrs. Anderson had fun dancing with the kids and also fangirled a little at seeing the Disney characters like Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy. NOW THAT'S A HAPPY ENDING, MATES!
Before we continue, I just want to say that I'm sorry that it some time to update a new story! Luckily, I've hopefully managed to make it up to every one of you awesome readers by making my "Birthday Request Story" made by fellow Fanfiction Author, DJ Rodriguez into an actual Fanfiction Story! All the credit goes to him…All I did was add a few extra scenes and make some slight changes!
I know that I've also promised to publish a new "Total Drama"-crossover story that I've got some help with from my friend, "qazse"...But it hasn't been easy with my busy schedule from working, helping out my family, going out on many dates with my new girlfriend, Ruby…She's an absolute peach~! It doesn't help that I've also been busy with my Capoeira lessons…Just to let all of you know, I'm determined to become a great Capoeirista and will not stop till I have accomplished this goal!
Now that I'm done, I'll promise you that I will defiantly start working on my new crossover story that I've planned with "qazse"…Just to let some of you impatient readers know, it might take a while before it's finished! While I'm glad that you like my stories…I want to work in peace and make sure that the chapters are perfect without any grammar errors! But otherwise…Thank all of you for being such loyal fans of my stories!
