"Damn it"
Lois sighed the sigh of the long suffering at Clark's swear. She strongly resisted the urge to beat her head against the desk as as turned towards the living room and called to her husband. "Clark? What happened"
"Uhh... nothing" Clark called back to her.
Lois rolled her eyes towards the sky as she pushed her chair back and stood up. After all this time and the man STILL was the worst liar on earth. "What'd you break Farmboy"
"N-Nothing! Nothing! Why'd you say I broke something" Clark yelped trying to stuff something behind his back.
"Because I know you. Is that your cape? Oh hell! You broke another sewing needle didn't you"
"Not broke! Just... uh bent... a little. And took the point of the pointy end. I can't help it! The needles hit my fingers and break or get bent" Clark tried to defend himself.
"Gah! You live on a farm for almost 20 years and nether Martha or Jonathan taught you to sew! I find that hard to believe"
Clark flinched. "I- uh- I don't want to talk about it but to suffice it to say there was an...incedent when I was a kid. Mom and Dad never let me even think about sewing anything after that."
Lois covered her face with a groan. "Oh lord what am I going to do with you! Give me that! From now on have me do it or go to your mother! Not like it's a long trip for you..." The last part was muttered under her breath."If you keeping going though my sewing needles like this I'll never have any when I need to fix something! And you know how often my stuff gets ripped with all the chasing the bad guys and stuff" Lois snapped as she quickly started mending bullets holes in Superman's cape.
"Yes Lois..." Clark said looking embarrassed. He hoped this never got out. Who'd ever believe the Man of Steel couldn't even sew up the holes in his own cape! The bad guys would never take him seriously if this got out!
