Hi! This is my FIRST fic. So……be nice….reeeaally nice

I don't own anything. Please really I don't

Remy was tired.

Remy was beyond tired.

That was all he could think of as he made his way up the steps to his home, home, something he didn't really think he'd ever have. Remy had been called back to New Orleans on family business. Apparently there was huge multi-million diamond necklace with "thief's guild" written all over it. Although it was fun to steal such a beauty it was nice to be back to the place you think of as home. He hadn't been here for little over a month, besides inside the two-story house was a treasure even more beautiful then anything he'd ever seen or would ever see.

Rogue.

He missed Rogue. She was "home." Without her the house he was now unlocking would just be a house nothing more. It was weird, thinking things like that. Remy paused as he turned the knob. "Madre, she's made me soft," Something that for a long, long time he's been denying. I mean before he met her he was a player, the raging Cajun. Now, he was a loving husband, owned a home maybe would like to have kids someday and he kept referring to the house which held his Cherie "home." Yes, very weird indeed. Hell, Remy didn't know which was weirder, the fact that he's thinking these things, or the fact that it's true.

Remy heard Linkin Park was he walked into his home. hmm.she's cleaning again he thought as he made his way upstairs to their room. She was vacuuming, dancing, and smiling. Three things she wouldn't do in front of ANYONE without killing then right after with a slow, and painful death. They were like that. When they were together, they could do things they couldn't do otherwise. Remy chuckled softly as he leaned against the door and watched her as she continued to vacuum, dance, and smile around while attacking imaginary dust bunnies. He took this chance to observe what she was wearing. it's laundry day, thank god for that she was wearing his favorite black sweatpants, and a small tank top that stopped right above her belly button showing not only her pierced belly but the tattoo on her lower back both things they did after she had gotten control. She was beautiful. It took her 4 minutes to even feel his presence. She stopped dancing right in front of him and looked up into his eyes. "Hey sugah, how long have ya been standing there…" rogue whispered softly, like she was afraid he wasn't really there. He smiled. Not grinned but smiled at her, something he'd been doing a lot since he's been with her. "Not long Cherie, having fun?" he said raking his red on black eyes over her curvaceous body. Rogue blushed at his question and questing eyes as she tried to recover. "Yeah..I was cleanin..an …..well….." rogue looked down as she murmured the last word, another thing she wouldn't do in front of anyone else but him. Remy's smile only got bigger. After she calmed down the blush she raised her head and smiled at him. She then leaned up and kissed him softly on the lips. "Nice welcome home chere, a private show and a kiss." he laughed as rogue slapped his arm playfully. "Welcome home sugah, I missed ya" "missed u too chere" they whispered as they walked hand in hand and climbed into bed to go to sleep. He was tired; she was content to let him sleep, and they were just happy to be together again. After all they were at home. With each other.
