Fry from Futurama walked out of the store, holding a plastic bag that wriggled in his fingers. He grinned as the stink lizards crawled on top of one another, making the bag wriggle.
"Gosh, I sure hope Inc likes these" he said to himself. Excitedly walking back to planet express with his valentines day gift.
Inc, short for Incidental 3, had just moved to New York from his home town of bikini bottom.
He still remembered the day he was ordering from his favorite restaurant (the krabby patty) and he felt funny. He had been day drinking earlier, and took a wrong turn to use the bathroom. As he walked down the hallway, he opened what seemed like the bathroom door, but the cold dark room soon alerted him to it being a freezer. Next thing he knew, he walked back into a bikini bottom of chrome and clones, nothing like what he remembered.
Overall, he still missed the patties, but he had found something special here.
"I'm back!" Fry said, opening the door. Inc jumped up excitedly, wrapping his fins around Fry and kissing his cheek.
"Happy Valentines day, love" Inc said, losing himself in the attractive redhead's eyes for a moment that went for an eternity, like a roller coaster ride the attendant forgot to turn off and you're on your second ride, happy you got to go again, but before your third ride, when the fear creeps in.
"So, uh, I wanted to make today special, so I got you a present" Fry said, handing him the squirming bag of stink lizards. "I wasn't sure if you'd like a bird or stink lizards, but the lizards reminded me of you." Fry said, blushing as he rubbed the back of his neck.
"Gee, thanks!" Inc said, taking the stink lizards. "I'll be sure to take good care of Incidental 223 to 323"
As he turned to take them to his room, Zoidberg walked into the room. "What's this?" He said, bumping into Inc, knocking the lizards from his hand. Immediately, they start scattering. Zoidberg grabs a handful and shoves them into his mouth.
"Oh no you don't!" Fry shouts, picking up a broom and hitting Zoidberg over the head with it, then forcing his mouth open to remove the stink lizards.
After that incident, Inc and Fry went back to lnc's house to set up the terrarium. After setting up up, the two grabbed a slurm from the fridge and sat on the balcony.
"You know, when I first got here, I was scared" Fry said. "I felt like a real fish out of water. And, well, you are one. It seems like we're made for each other.
Inc set a fin on Fry's hand. "You know, before you, nobody ever seemed to listen to me. In fact, I don't speak to anyone." He said.
"Well, I like listening to you." Fry set down his slurm and put his other hand on Inc's fin."
