Young Love
"If everything you say...gets laughed at...Then you become afraid of everyone...And are no longer able to speak..Even knowing that all that does is bother everyone. Everything looks completely dark. Your heart...shuts down. And your words die" (p.116-117)
He had wanted to help. He had. But it was because he couldn't that he didn't. It was so painful that he could not protect the one he loved the most from the stinging stabs of ridcule she had faced? Why was it that he couldn't do anything but that...That.."Onee-chan" could? It wasn't fair. It wasn't fair that she, Tohru Honda, could do what he longed to do. It wasn't fair that Kisa's affections were directed towards that...That...Witch.
Hiro...He had wanted to help Kisa, truly he did. He wanted to be the one to protect her. He wanted to be her knight. Her prince. But...Who needed him when there was Tohru? The bubbly older girl was always willing to assist anyone in need. And she was so much more...Kinder. Why..Why couldn't he be more like...More like her..?
Kisa...She was the world to Hiro. She was his princess. His goddess. His love was all for her. But why..? Why couldn't she see? She always seemed so oblivous to his affection. So..Why was it that, every little thing he did to try to hint, to show her. Always ended up with her...With her focus on Tohru?
Life was so confusing, and to top it all the wretched Curse he suffered along other selected few of his family made life even harder. And Akito...Why did the Head of the Sohma House have to be so cruel? Why was it that Akito did not want any of the Juuinshi to have relationships? And why did not only he, but the whole Juuinshi have to feel this bond with the Head? Why can't he even hate Akito after watching her shove Rin out the window?
So many questions...And so little answers. Life was truly a mystery waiting to be solved. It was a cruel, evil, game where nobody wins.
Laying on his bed and staring at the ceiling of his bed room, his usual hazel scowl was plastered of his face as the young sheep pondered over these matters. A few warm tears streaming down his face, tears that nobody would ever see. Tears revealed his pains. Eventually drifting to sleep, he dreamt of the day to come..
"Kisa-chan..." came Hiro's voice, sounding gentle and benevolent, even a bit shy.
"Yes Hiro-kun?" answered Kisa's soft spoken voice, her wide eyes fixated onto him as he spoke, admiration shinging through them.
"Uhm..." he began, his cheeks taking up a light pink blush before leaning forward and making soft contact against her left cheek with his lips. "I love you Kisa-chan." he whispered gently, the two children blushing lightly before Kisa's mouth curved upwards into a smile as she lightly returned the kiss to his own right cheek. "I love you too Hiro-kun..."
