A little poem I wrote when I was bored. Although I love the whole Squall/Rinoa thing I kind of got the impression that maybe Quistis liked him (and kind of felt sorry for her). So this is a poem about Quistis and her love for Squall.

Silent Dreams
She watched them dance
Saw the smile she brought to his face
The way she could open him up
Allow him to show his emotions
And her heart ached
How she wished it was her in his arms
Long had she loved him
But he did not know, would never know
Of her silent dreams
She was the steady rock
Against which the winds pounded
It was she who calmed the blowing storms
Always so patient in her ways
She had tried to sooth the squall
But he would not accept her
He would never allow her to break the walls
And so he would never know she had loved him
Would never know of her silent dreams
And so she watched them dance
Saw the smile she brought to his face
And she walked away
Into the shadows of the stars
Alone was she always
And in the shadows she hid
Hid her feelings, her sadness, her pain
