Mornings Are Bliss
I woke up to someone slightly pushing me. I whimpered and pushed back, somewhat harder then I'd been pushed.
"Turned it off, Allie." I heard him say, sleep evident in every inch of his voice.
Sighing I finally reach my hand out towards the nightstand and fight the urge to throw the damn thing across the room. Finally I turned it off, and just as I'm about to settle in, I feel his warm arm slip around my waist and all I can think about is that there is no way I'll be going back to sleep. So gladly I give in, and let myself be pulled against him. I can't help but giggle as he buries his face in my neck.
"You gotta get going soon."
"I know." He said leaning back. I, on the other hand rested my head on his bare chest.
"I… I'm gonna miss you." I could hear him give a small chuckle as he starts playing with my hair.
"I'm gonna miss you too. It'll just be for a couple months and you can always come out to the games."
"I know." I said closing my eyes and listening to his heartbeat. I let my hand slowly trace his chest, before lowering my hand to his abdomen. I could feel his whole body stiffen I smile slightly as I hear his heart beat quicken, and my hand continued it's path downward.
"Hey now." He said to me laughing.
I lift my head and look into his eyes, my hand still in the same spot. "You'd better start getting ready."
He pretend to think before smiling. "I think that can wait a couple." He said flipping us over.
"Dave." I scream giggling which is quickly silenced by him kissing me. I then realized that the next couple months are going to be the hardest of my life.
