5:59 am, all is quiet through the small Daytona apartment.

6:00 am on the dot the apartment seems to come alive on its own. The coffee maker flips on and begins brewing 2 cups of Folgers half caffeinated coffee. The recessed ceiling lights come on as if having a mind of their own. An Irobot sweeper comes alive and begins its daily task of cleaning the apartment only occasionally getting stuck on a rug or under the small square dining table.

A lap top on the corner table next to the futon in the small living room is seen turning on and flashing through its startup screen and getting ready for the day while a radio sitting on the TV cabinet turned on to today's news casting. The living room lead to a very small laundry room with a washer and dryer stacked on top of eachother. The dryer turned on by itself, flipped to 60 mins high heat and started on its own.

Further down the hallway led to a small bedroom that had of course the normal bedroom furniture. The lights inside the room turned on by themselves as a radio turned on telling today's newscast as well, like the one in the living room. A smart phone lit up as it created a 3d image of a small white anthropomorphic rabbit with one ear flopped over.

"Wake up sleeping beauty! It's 6 am!" She shouted in a gleeful electronic voice.

"Litany please… let me sleep in…" the form in the bed said as she pulled a pillow over her head.

"Actually you can't, it seems you got kind of a full day today. You have an online class at 8 am this morning, then you have a doctor's appointment at 10am, followed by a dentist appointment at noon, which is followed by another online class at 3pm, then you need to get to work at the amusement park at 5pm and you are at work until…" Litany trailed as she looked through what looked like a small note pad, "um… midnight. All of this with breaks for eating and some housekeeping tasks in between. I noticed the dishes from last week still have yet to be done. Also you have a water bill payment coming up next week." Said litany as she watched the form rise out of bed with yawn. "Sorry Ashton but it seems that sleeping in isn't doable today." Litany continued as Ashton moved from the edge of the bed to the closet where she kept her jeans and shirts hung neatly.

The clothes were hung in what most would consider odd or organized. It was organized according to season, the most current one in the front followed by the next one and so on and so forth. At this time, it was fall, so light sweaters and tee shirts were at the front.

"Litany, what's the weather this morning? Traffic?" She asked pulling on jeans.

"It's currently a crisp 67 degrees, the highest today is going to be 75 degrees with a 75% chance of rain. The traffic right now is rather light but as the day goes on I would recommend not taking the highway." Said litany.

Ashton said nothing as she pulled on a camisole and then a tee shirt. Then she left for the bathroom. Ashton could hear the radio spouting political news for now as she fixed her short dark brown hair. Nothing interesting has happened yet. Yet. Black soulless eyes searched the pale face in the mirror for any blemishes. Finding none she left the bathroom for the time being and went back into her room and put on her smart watch which litany could use to monitor her health through out the day.

"You seem low on iron. Might I suggest something high in Iron? Something slightly more healthy than fruit loops and milk." Said litany as her face showed up on the smartwatche's screen.

"No. I need the sugar." Ashton said as she grabbed a bowl and said cereal from the kitchen and poured herself a bowl and a glass of milk and sat down at the small square table. "Do I have any important emails?" Ashton asked after swallowing a spoonful of cereal.

"Yah you have about….." litany trailed as she began crunching numbers, "God you have about 467 new emails. Some are from color pop, they have your favorites back in stock. Should I go ahead and order them?" She asked.

"Um all I really need is the strawberry face milk, face scrub, and lip scrub." Was all Ashton said.

"Uh what about the overnight lip serum? Should I add that too?" Asked litany.

"Sure why not. I'm about halfway through anyways." Said Ashton as she finished up her breakfast.

"Done, it will be here……sometime next week." Said litany.

Ashton looked at the time on her watch, 6:30.

"Litany I think you could have seriously let me sleep in." Said she as she put her dish in the sink.

"And I think you could do the dishes." Litany said. Ashton just tossed her a dirty look. "What? it's true! Those have been sitting there since last week! Do you have any idea what bacteria can grow in a week?"

"Nope and don't really care to know." Said Aston as she went into the bathroom.

"Ok well, don't come crying to me when you get really sick or something." Said litany.

Ashton came back out. "I won't." She said as she grabbed her laptop and sat on the couch and opened her email. She saw litany peeking around the corner of the bottom right of the screen. She selected all the emails on her inbox and hit delete. She laughed when litany stormed on to the screen with a frown on her face and a twirl above her head. "What?" Asked Ashton with a smirk. She found litany to be rather comical sometimes. Turns out programming a program with emotions was good for something. It was good for a quick laugh or two.

A speech bubble popped up from litany, "you didn't even read them!" It said,

"Don't have to! I knew they were all junk!" Said Ashton laughing a bit as litany rolled her grayish blue eyes.

Ashton looked at the time. It was nearly 8 o'clock. She on online and into the virtual class room for her virtual college class.
