Feisty
He walked in to see her sitting on the couch asleep. There was a fire going and she'd been reading. The book laid still open and forgotten in her lap. He slowly closed the door behind him but she stirred and slowly began to wake up.
Taryn's eyes landed on Robbie as she stretched, she smiled before closing the book, not caring to mark the page. "Hey."
"Hey." He said sitting next to her. Without wasting time she cuddled closer to him wrapping her arm around his waist. "I didn't want to wake you."
"I was waiting for you… until I fell asleep that is." She yawned and snuggled closer. "So how was it?"
"It was great, well for the most part."
"Why is that?"
He chuckled and wrapped his arm behind her neck. "Well we were in Thief River Falls and as we were taking off… we hit a moose. Me and some of the guys pushed the plane back into the hanger, so they could check it out, all of this while it rained. But other then that it was pretty good."
She smiled and asked. "Is the moose okay?"
Robbie looked down at her and sighed. "What is it with you people and asking about the moose, what about me?"
"Aww, my man thinks he's being neglected." Taryn said sitting in his lap.
"Yes… yes I do… I need attention." He said pulling her closer once more.
Her mouth was right on the corner of his, she turned his head and put her lips to his ear. "But first I have to brush my teeth." She said jumping up and running towards their room.
"You've got to be kidding." Robbie said running after her. "They're just gonna get dirty again."
"Robbie!" He heard her yell, she giggled as she shut the bathroom door behind him.
