The Conquest of Phoebus
'Tis just another day for me
A naive little gypsy girl
Twirling like a rose in a storm
Sharing my footwork with the world
Iron arms grab mine, dragging me away
Sausage fingers stifle my panicked scream
But when I am saved, I see my saviour's face
Suddenly things aren't as bad as they seem
Perfection in every sense of the word
Tall, dark and handsome, a sun god all right
Broad shoulders, large muscles, and twinkly eyes
Hair like flowing honey; my, what a sight!
A man in uniform, so regal and suave
With lips that clearly know of delightful sin
I turn my glistening petals to the sun
And spread them apart to let him in
My precious amulet comes crashing to the floor
As I'm filled with pleasure I never knew before
The white baby shoe is lost in a pile of dust
As his tender hands lovingly caress my bust
When we're both done we lie in each other's embrace
He kisses my lips and our fingers interlace
And he says right then and there that he loves me
And I feel my whole body light up with glee
I should have known it would never last
For once out of his lust-induced trance
He found himself bored
Now that he had scored
I knew then that I had to make haste
In the dead of night, I crept away
Through the window, over the rooftops,
Under the moon I made my way
Now I look the same
As I did before
A simple, naive gypsy flower
But now armed with thorns
For never again shall I feel
The pain and regret of that night
For I, and I alone
Provide my own delight
