She marries Robert as planned, and together the two produce two children before she ultimately dies in childbirth. A Twist of Fate ~ SYOC

A single difference can alter the course of history. And that is exactly what happens in this fic. Lyanna doesn't get pregnant, and thus Jon Snow is not born. She survives the war, and sticks with the lie that Rhaegar kidnapped her. She marries Robert Baratheon and gives him two children, but dies giving birth to her second born child.

A heartbroken Robert takes his time, but afterwards eventually marries Cersei Lannister, who has children of her own (fathered by Jaime).

Peace reigns in the Seven Kingdoms, until the untimely death of Jon Arryn. That is when Robert Baratheon travels North to ask Ned to be his hand.
