Free from you

Summary: I could be mean, I could be angry. You know I could be just like you.

Author's note: The song used is by Three Days Grace"Just Like You"

I could be mean
I could be angry
You know I could be just like you

I could be fake
I could be stupid
You know I could be just like you

You thought you were standing beside me
You were only in my way
You're wrong if you think that I'll be just like you

She watched with mild fascination as Daniel Jackson lay unconscious in the brig of her replicator ship. The mind probing had taken a lot from his human body, he required time to regenerate before she could attempt to access the Ancient knowledge again.

Samantha Carter, replicator, universe ruler, replicater warrior, watched him limp form, her head filling with memories of life before she became a replicator. And she knew they were all fake.

Every touch, every smell, every adventure she could remember wasn't hers. They all belonged to the real one. The real Samantha Carter of the U.S Air Force.

Anger filled her, as she thought about Sam, the woman right now, trying to defeat her.

No human could every beat Samantha Carter of the Replicators. And if she had to kill her double to prove it, so be it.

You thought you were there to guide me
You were only in my way
You're wrong if you think that I'll be just like you
You thought you were there to guide me
You were only in my way
You're wrong if you think that I'll be just like you

I could be cold
I could be ruthless
You know I could be just like you

I could be weak
I could be senseless
You know I could be just like you

She wasn't compassionate. She wasn't nice. She was a machine. This Samantha would never be able to kiss Jack O'Neill, to hold his hand, to run her hand through his hair. No, she would never be able to lead the normal life she so desperately wanted. So she took her anger, her hurt, out on killing Fifth, the monster that created her like this, and on ruling the Universe.

It hurt her inside, it hurt her to hurt Daniel Jackson, her friend. But Daniel wasn't her friend. No. It was Samantha Carter, the human, it was her friend.

Daniel Jackson would never have accepted her as a machine.

RepliCarter grinned slightly, remembering when she had spared the real Samantha Carter's life. The pathetic human had looked at her in fear. But she had spared the humans lives. Because she still thought there was a chance of her becoming human.

She now knew there was no chance of that ever happening.

You thought you were standing beside me
You were only in my way
You're wrong if you think that I'll be just like you

You thought you were there to guide me
You were only in my way
You're wrong if you think that I'll be just like you
You thought you were there to guide me
You were only in my way
You're wrong if you think that I'll be just like you

On my own, cause I can't take liven with you
I'm alone, so I won't turn out like you
Want me to

Sighing, she looked around, this was like the room where she had been born. In fifth's ship. This was like the place where her world had fallen apart.

Smiling, she looked out through the window to the empty expanse of space. The universe was going to be hers. She was going to squash it in her palm.

And then they would all see, She was not Samantha Cater of the USAF, Earth.

She was a Replicator.

And she was free.

You thought you were standing beside me
You were only in my way
You're wrong if you think that I'll be just like you

I could be mean
I could be angry
You know I could be just like you
