"Dang, what's taking her so long?"
Cedric huffed to himself. His patience was running dry and there was still no princess opening her door in sight
After what seemed like forever, Sofia finally opened the door with a smile "Hi Ceedric~"
"Don't Hi Ceedric me, what took you so long.." he frowned in dissatisfaction "You almost made me wait for an hour"
"Well… I had to dress up and do my hair.." she started to bounce them up and down, hoping he would notice "Do you like them?"
Sofia smiled and looked away nonchalantly, she hoped he would at least notice her actually being different and actually putting effort into making herself look good for him.
She was not a little girl anymore… and she hoped he would at least notice..
"I don't care.." Cedric responded flatly which she found very rudely upon. She sighed, this was Cedric after all
He then pulls out a bundle of lilac flowers from his coat which she grew surprised from "Y-you came here to give me flowers?" a blush was dancing on her cheeks
"uhhh yeah.. just take it" Cedric uttered hesitantly
"So you came all this way to my room to give me flowers in the middle of the night?"
"Yeah" Cedric answered without hesitation. But upon realizing the intent, he took it back "I mean no… Don't go there, Sofia. I'm just here to deliver the flowers you asked for earlier"
"So you heard me say I wanted some flowers and you went out of your way in the middle of the night to pick some flowers for my sake.." Sofia was now getting aggressive with her teases "Now that is very sweet of you, Ceedric"
"You forced me to go, and said stuffs like You never do anything for your princess and Poor me, going to have to pick some flowers in the middle of the night – hah, why am I explaining myself like this? Just take them, Sofia"
He handed her the flowers, but instead of catching them, they slipped off her palm.
"Poseidon's Pumpkins.." he cursed in annoyance as he knelt down to pick them all up one by one and held it in her hand. He then presented them to her down on one knee
And Sofia was quick to notice this
"So now you're proposing to me?" The princess immediately teased which made him grimace
"Propose?"
"I mean… I am simply stating the obvious.." Sofia looked away in a defiant way "Look at yourself right now"
Upon noticing that he was down on one knee and giving her back the flowers. It was more like a suitor offering some flowers for his beloved in a quest to earn her love
With the realization of this, the Sorcerer grew red out of embarrassment and immediately stood to his feet. He then made his way to her room and placed the flowers in a vase before finally making his way out
"Leaving so soon…?" her teases seem to never end as Cedric himself ignored her annoying playful bickers and proceeded out of the room
Before he could actually create some distance, Sofia came out to greet him on the way "I appreciate the-"
"Yeah yeah whatever.." an annoyed response came from the Sorcerer, interrupting her in an act of defiance.
Sofia then watches him leave and walk away with a smile on her face. Just then, he notices a single flower that was still on the ground that he seemed to have missed picking up earlier. Eagerly, Sofia picked the single flower and looked at it. As her gaze went back to Cedric walking far now, another smile formed on her lips as she hummed
"Thank you~"
With her doors closed and locked, she fell to her bed with thoughts of how funny his expressions were as usual. Sofia couldn't help but giggle thinking about him
He then placed the single flower unto the vase, and upon doing so, she noticed the wonderful aroma coming from it.
Eyes closed, the smell of fresh lilac with Cedric's scent from being it being in his coat brought a whole new ecstasy to the princess that she couldn't help but be mesmerized on. It was making her think of such thoughts of Cedric, and the things he would do to her. He was making her feel some type of way
Sofia then embraced the flower to herself with a content hum coming from the young maiden~
