"Ellie, that's great" Alex said to her friend, Ellie. She became friends with her after the whole deal with Jay

"I know" Ellie said happily, when Alex's mom came to the door

"Someone's here to see you" she said. Alex hung up with Ellie, and the last person she ever wanted to see came in

"Hey" Jay Hogart said. He had a black hat and a black jacket on. He seemed tired

"What the hell do you want" Alex said. She looked him straight in the eye, and he seemed to be hurt

"I came to apologize for everything" Jay said

"You know what, I was hurt for weeks, I had an STD, and you used my best friend. If that isn't low, I have no clue what the hell is" Alex said. For the millionth time that week, she felt like crying. But she had to much pride to do it in front of Jay. She only has once, and that's when her father was abusing her. He helped get her out of that

Jay was hurt too. He hasn't slept in a week "Well, I just wish you'd see that I still love you"

"Prove it" Alex said. She stood up and walked into her bathroom

Jay sighed. He knew this would be harder than it looked

Alex finally came out and said "Amy and Emma, Amy and Emma, Jay. Ever since you've been gone, I've been different. Like I'm outside of myself"

"Come back. I'll prove, I'm different. While you were gone, I haven't done anything with any other girls"

"Because you were afraid of giving them some sort of shit" Alex said, she sat on her bed. She still loved him, more than anything else she can think of. But she was scared of getting hurt

Jay took his hat off "There is no way your getting me to leave without you"

"I can call the cops"

"Even then I won't leave"

Alex thought. He sounded like he really meant it. She had never seen him in so much pain. She sat next to him and finally said "If I do, just promise you will never do anything like that ever, ever again"

Jay stopped. This definitely didn't sound like Alex, but he knew she meant it "I swear"

Alex held him, and didn't let go. He ran his fingers through her hair, and she cried

"Nothing will ever happen to you again. I promise" Jay said
