It has been around a year since the trip to San Lorenzo. Arnold had finally reunited with his parents and finally found out about Helga's secret of all this time. After sharing that kiss that night, everything felt complete for him.

After trying to flirt with her on the first day back to school, it was more or less, it may have seemed like nothing changed in his eyes, while Helga shrieked internally. Over time, while Arnold kept trying to flirt with Helga, it really seemed like nothing changed. While Helga was extremely excited about Arnold finally returning the feelings, he was slowly losing the feeling as well.

Throughout this time, everytime Arnold would think about a relationship, his attention always turned to none other than Rhonda Wellington Lloyd. The richest girl of all of P.S.118.

Arnold eventually lost feelings for Helga as she had no idea and was too busy lost in space, so Arnold decided to put his boldness to the test and ask out the raven-haired rich girl. To his surprise, she gladly accepted his date offer, since she had her eye on him for quite some time despite the love rumors she heard. She discarded them as mere fake rumors.

After their first date together, Arnold felt strongly attached to her, and Rhonda felt strongly attached to Arnold. After Arnold had walked her home, she decided to go in for her for her first proper kiss. After a very successful date night, the two continuously hung out together.

After months of hanging out together, Arnold surprised Rhonda on date night by asking her to be his girlfriend. After Arnold confessed first, Rhonda finally confessed to him how long she had a crush on him. The two couldn't help but smile at each other as they shared a passionate kiss together that night.

After a while, their relationship became very noticeable. Helga felt her heart shattered when she saw the two kissing in the hallways one day. Arnold had admitted he had feelings, but she neglected them for too long, costing her his kindness and love. While he was still kind to her, he didn't have any love for her. After Arnold admitted to Helga what he had on his mind, Rhonda yanked Arnold's collar straight to a kiss, in front of Helga.

Curly had also noticed, but every time he'd try to 'flirt' with Rhonda, Arnold was always beside her as she kept telling Curly off. Several times, she had to slap him across the face.

Eventually, he finally stopped chasing after her and let Rhonda and Arnold be happy together. Sometime during the school year, Curly decided to move away. Nobody noticed until a month later.

Soon, the end of the school year came, which meant Rhonda and Arnold could spend all day together without worrying about school. Arnold had suggested that the two would go to a beach he had been to before back in fourth grade. Rhonda gladly accepted as she was curious about what Arnold had in mind.

Soon enough, the day came to go to the beach and the two were excited about what was to come. Arnold was also curious about what Rhonda would think of his past experience there. All he knew was that she would make it an unforgettable experience.

"Oh Arnold, I can't tell you how excited I was last night! Could barely even sleep last night!" Rhonda hugged Arnold from behind as the two walked inside the beach house.

"Don't you fall asleep on me." Arnold smirked. "Oh, ha ha… Still love you, though!" Rhonda kissed his cheek.

"Let's get changed out and have some fun in the sand?"

"Hope you didn't confuse the sand as grass and brung your cleats." Rhonda smirked at Arnold. Arnold only smirked back.

Five Minutes Later

Arnold was outside her room as he waited. He then knocked. "Rhonda, are you even gonna come out of there, or are you not wanting to let go of your phone?"

"Hang on, hang on! Just a sec, hopefully, you don't go blind by this beauty."

"I look at you every second and admire how beautiful you are." Arnold smirked. "Don't say I didn't warn you."

Arnold only raised an eyebrow in confusion. Rhonda opened the door to her room, while Arnold was left speechless. She wore a black one-piece swimsuit that showed off her curves, along with her developing chest. Arnold blushed furiously once he took a good glance at her. She put on her shades on her hair as twirled around once before walking up to Arnold and putting a hand on his chin.

"Any words left? I was hoping for something." She giggled. Arnold blushed as he had a goofy smile. "How about a little kiss, mm?" Rhonda then started a slow kiss between Arnold and her.

After the kiss, Arnold had a very goofy expression. Rhonda only giggled as she tickled his chin. "Well, how about we go outside now? We're not gonna have fun just standing here all day." She smirked. Arnold happily nodded.

The two ran outside as they held hands, to later tripping over each other. They couldn't help but laugh together after.

Later on, they played in the sand, making sand castles or playfully chasing after one another. Occasionally, they shared multiple kisses with each other. They even went towards the ocean to play around together.

Arnold would mostly get splashed by Rhonda. He only playfully tackled her while laughing.

While Arnold could say he was having the time of his life, certain thoughts kept creeping into his mind, regarding that past beach experience.

Later

Arnold and Rhonda were building sand castles together, they were about halfway through it when Rhonda soon leaned over to Arnold.

"Hey, Arnold, how about we get some ice cream? I'd certainly love to share one with you." She giggled as she pinched his cheek. Arnold blushed as he smiled. "I think I'd love to share one with you. And maybe a little dance later." Arnold leaned close as he gave her a slow kiss on the cheek. Rhonda blushed as she sighed lovingly.

A few minutes later at the beach house, while Rhonda was waiting on Arnold, all she could think about right now was how adorable Arnold can be most of the time.

Arnold soon came back as he sat next to her and kissed her forehead. "Hey, princess." Arnold smiled. Rhonda cupped his face as she gave a quick long kiss on his lips. "Have I ever told you how much I love you, Arnold?" Arnold only had a goofy expression while blushing.

Rhonda took the ice cream from his hand and gave him a kiss on his cheek. "Thanks, handsome." She made a kissy face at Arnold, making him blush furiously.

Arnold then smiled as he put an arm over. Rhonda giggled as she got closer to Arnold. Arnold smiled as he kissed her forehead. Rhonda then held the ice cream up to him now. She smiled at him while he licked the ice cream from her hand.

After a couple of minutes, while Rhonda was having one of the best days of her life, she looked at Arnold, only to see an upset look on his face. "Arnold, is something wrong?"

"Huh? Oh uh, nothing sweetie. I was just thinking back."

"About what?"

"The last time I was here at this beach. So much happened throughout that time. I was nearly tricked by this one girl while our own school bully saved me from her."

Rhonda went wide-eyed. "Helga?! You were with Helga last time you were here?"

"But it was during our time of close friendship in fourth grade! Not while we were dating, ok?"

She calmed down. "Ok, phew. So go on."

"Well, it's something that really bothers me when I think about it, especially since I'm with you now. And I wanna say it was a bit of a bad time, it was just more or less, y'know?"

"Care to tell me about it?"

"I would, but you probably wouldn't like to know what Helga did to me when we got on set for this tv show or something."

"What'd she do?!

Arnold flinched a little. "Well… I was supposedly knocked out for the script or whatever, and she was supposed to do CPR when all she did was slip her tongue inside my mouth…"

"That little rat…" Rhonda then facepalmed. "If I ever get my hands on her I'D- I'd… Ahh, that feels good…" Arnold rubbed her shoulders as he kissed her cheek. "Feeling better, Princess?" Rhonda looked over at Arnold as she happily nodded. Arnold smiled as he kissed her forehead.

"So, what about this girl that nearly tricked you?"

"Personally, I don't want to say much about her since she's older than me, and I don't really wanna know about her anymore."

"If it makes you any comfortable, we don't have to talk about that girl. On the bright side, you have your girlfriend right beside you." Rhonda licked the ice cream before she gave him a kiss.

"So Arnold, you think our relationship will last throughout the school years?" Rhonda nervously asked. Arnold kissed her forehead. "I'd say way beyond that."

Rhonda giggled. "Beyond that, hm? Well, how long will I have to wait for my ring?" She leaned close to Arnold as he blushed. "I think that's something for another day, no?" He nervously smiled. Rhonda only smirked as she gave a long kiss on his lips.

"If I could right now, I would've smeared lip gloss all over your adorable face," Rhonda smirked as she pinched Arnold's cheek. Arnold blushed. "How about we finish up our ice cream and get back to playing in the sand?" Arnold suggested. "Anything you think of Arnold, is always a great idea." She kissed him after.

After a few minutes, they finished up their ice cream and soon went back to playing in the sand.

For this young couple, big and amazing things would await the two as they always enjoyed one another's presence. Overall, one can say that this beautiful couple will grow up together and soon be together for the rest of their lives. Hey, who knows, maybe they'll start a family one day. All one. can say is, beautiful things await this cute couple.
