While on patrol through the outpost, Kylo felt her familiar force signature. It stunned him instantly since she had shut him out repeatedly since their last encounter on Crait. Kylo Ren hadn't been able to stop thinking about her since this day or even since the day he met this beautiful woman.
She fills his mind as he trounces across the vast landscape outside the outpost. The way her nose scrunches up when she's trying to cover her smile. The melody of her voice as she whispers his birth name to him like a prayer. The spark they both felt when their hands touched across the galaxy. The countless freckles that cover her body and makes his heart melt. Her strength and confidence while protecting him and believing in him when no one else ever had. Everything about her intoxicates him in all the best ways.
Kylo hears faint voices up ahead and swiftly hides behind a tree. His heart palpitates as he recognizes one of the voices as the scavenger's. He trembles as he tries to hide his Force signature from her, waiting just a little while longer to make his choice come to fruition. After today, he doesn't care what happens to him. Kylo needs her to know everything and that's that.
The voices start to fade and Kylo silently follows, careful of his footfalls in the grass. He follows them to the entrance of the Resistance Base. It is surrounded by trees and various scrubs to hide it from view cleverly. As he peers from behind a tree, Kylo catches a glimpse of her hair pulled back in its usual three buns. His heart feels heavy for a moment as he thinks about how she let her hair flow freely last time. He was certain she had let her hair down to let her past die and forget about her parents who weren't coming back to her. Seeing her hair back in its usual three buns makes Kylo all the more certain of his decision to be here.
Without a sound, Kylo slips inside the entrance to the Resistance Base and sees her up ahead of him. His heart races as he rushes towards her, ignoring the shouts and gasps as he moves quickly towards her. He uncovers his Force signature and shouts her name.
