Kylo's heart races as he sees Rey react to his voice. This is it. Now or never. It has to happen. She has to know how he feels. Once he reaches her, he grasps her hand and whirls her around. He plants his lips on her own without another moment to spare. His heart explodes with love as he feels her melt into the kiss. Kylo groans when he feels Rey's hands slide through his hair, gripping the soft locks with her fingers as she deepens the kiss. He wraps his arms around her and holds her flush against him, kissing her back with a fiery passion. They ignore the shouts and voices around them. In this moment, it is just the two of them. When they finally pull apart for air, their hands stay put as they look into each other's eyes. Rey opens her mouth to speak but is silenced by his lips on her own once more.
"I had to…I had to do this, just this once," Kylo breathes against her lips.
Rey blushes deeply as a soft smile crosses her lips. She is shocked and awed at the same time as she sees a smile spread across the Supreme Leader's face. Never in a million years would she have thought he could be capable of such an act. Her hand rests on his cheek, her thumb caressing the skin lovingly as they gaze at one another. Everyone around them stands in shock, unable to move and unsure of how to respond accordingly.
"I hope this isn't just a one time thing," Rey whispers, feeling her blush grow.
Kylo's smile widens as he kisses her again. As they deepen the kiss, Kylo opens his mind up to Rey. She gasps against his lips as she feels everything he has been feeling for her since the day they met. Wrapping her arms around his neck, she opens her mind up to him in return and feels him kiss her harder as he feels his love being reciprocated by the woman of his dreams. Kylo lifts her up into the air and spins her around once, kissing her over and over again before setting her down lightly on her feet. They press their foreheads together and close their eyes, smiling as they feel their bond humming around them. Words of love are passed to one another through their bond. Through the connection they share, Rey sees how Kylo is choosing her and always will choose her. Her heart swells with love and happiness, knowing her feelings for him were right all along. She brought him back and she's not letting him go.
A cough from the crowd brings Rey and Kylo back to focus. Rey slowly opens her eyes and looks at Kylo. He blinks slowly, pressing a soft kiss to the tip of her nose. This makes Rey giggle and he smiles from the joyous sound. She brushes her lips against his gently before turning to face the members of the Resistance. Her hand slides into his firmly and with confidence. Kylo squeezes her hand, telling her he isn't letting him go ever. She is his choice forever and always.
"Everyone, please do not be alarmed. This man will not be harmed under any circumstances. If you have a problem, you deal with me. No one touches Ben Solo," Rey announces, squeezing Ben's hand in return.
