Tazuna's House
Kakashi, Suki, Sakura, Tsunami, and Tazuna were sitting at the kitchen table. Naruto was ordered by both Tsunami and Suki to get rest. As the five were sitting at the table, Tsunami continuously thanked the Konoha ninja multiple times.
"It's our pleasure, . But it wasn't us hat stopped Zabuza, it was Naruto." Kakashi said with his single eye smile.
"I'm tell you, Nami. That boy is like nothing we've ever seen. He engaged that sword user like it was nothing." Tazuna explained.
Sakura remained silent. No matter how much she wanted to deny it, she couldn't. Naruto proved to be far more powerful than any genin and could probably put most chunin. However, Sakura's lessons from her mother remained intact that Naruto was a monster.
"Well, I suppose it's time. Suki, Sakura. We're going out back to begin our training. When Naruto wakes up, he'll escort and guard Tazuna at the bridge. So, consider this time you guy's personalized training." KAkashi said.
Suki and Sakura nodded and followed their jonin sensei to the back yard.
Naruto was currently sleeping in the bed. He was walking down the streets of Konoha. However, unlike when he left for the mission, the village was completetly destroyed. Many of the villagers were dead at his feat. The blond looked around in horror at the carnage before him.
"What happened?" Naruto asked as he saw a familiar looking pink haired girl. "Sakura? What happened?" asked Naruto.
The girl looked at him and shouted. "No! Get away from me! You're a monster! Look what you did!" Sakura shouted. Appearing next to her were Suki and Kakashi. The two of them had looks of sadness and disgust in their eyes.
"Why? Why did you do it?" asked Kakashi.
"Naruto! This was your home! How could you destroy it like that?" shouted Suki as the tears fell from her eyes.
"What are you talking about? I didn't do this!" Naruto shouted until he saw a figure floating in the sky. The figure wore a black cloak with red clouds. He had tanish white hair with the rinnegan being lit up.
"This world shall all know pain." the figure said
With Team Seven
Suki dropped to one knee as she tried to catch her breath. Kakashi had ordered her and Sakura to learn and master the tree climbing exercise. Sakura quickly got the hang of it but Kakashi reminded her that it was because of her small reserves.
"Not bad, Sakura. However, keep it up. You'll build your reserves along with better your chakra control." Kakashi said.
Suki charged back at the tree before losing focus and ended up smashing her face in the tree. The seal on her wrist was acting up and she could feel that Naruto was in some form of distress. Kakashi asked if she was alright. "Kakashi sensei, I think Naruto is in trouble." Suki.
Kakashi raised an eyebrow. "I find that hard to believe. He's in the bed, sleeping." Kakashi explained.
"Then why is the connection seal acting up?" Suki asked while revealing her wrist.
"Where did you and Naruto get such a seal?" asked Kakashi as he further inspected the markings on the Uchiha's wrist.
"Naruto. He created it. It works perfectly. But, he's suffering from some kind of stress." Suki said.
"I's very likely he's having a bad dream. I wouldn't think too much of it. He did use quite a bit of chakra. It's normal for this to happen as his body is recovering." Kakashi explained. Suki nodded and resumed the tree climbing.
Wih Naruto
"Who are you?" Naruto called out to the figure that was descending to the ground. The man looked at Naruto with an emotionless glare. His hair was the same color along with nearly looking indentical. The only difference, aside from the clothing. The man had three piercings going through his nose, along with six piercings in each ear. Beneath his bottom lip, the man had two spikes sticking out. The last difference was the Konoha headband. While it was the same as NAruto's, their was a slash that cut through the symbol to signify that he was a rogue ninja.
"I'm you. You're me. We're one." said the twin of Naruto.
"I'm not understanding. Why did you destroy my village?" asked Naruto.
"I didn't destroy the village. We destroyed the village. All you've ever known is pain. We are pain. It's up to us to create a new world order." the voice of the emo looking Naruto said. Suddenly, attacking the remaining ninja and civilians, a massive nine tailed fox appeared.
"What the hell is that?" Naruto pointed out.
"That's your pain, your hatred, your inner demons. You've let out and now, they will all know pain." the voice said.
Suddenly, NAruto shot up as he was drenched in sweat and shaking. Suki was currently sitting next to him and she got up from being startled. "Naruto? Are you alright?" asked Suki as she walked over to him.
Naruto's breathing was heavy. His eyes continued scanning the room and he felt a massive pain in his stomach. "Where are we?" Naruto asked.
"Don't you remember? We're in the Land of Waves. Our mission was to escort and protect Tazuna. You fought that Zabuza guy and kicked his ass. You passed out shortly after." Suki explained.
"What about the village? The nine tailed fox?" Naruto asked.
"Huh? What are you talking about?" Suki asked as she softly placed her hand on NAruto's shoulders. The blond looked at the girl. Through his rinnegan, she was able to see the pain in his eyes. "Naruto... It's okay. The village is fine and the nine tailed fox was destroyed by the fourth hokage. Come on, I think Miss Tsunami is making dinner." Suki said as she grabbed Naruto's hand.
Naruto gave a nod as he let out a deep breath. The two exited the room and sat down at the dinner table. Sakura' glance never left the two as she saw Suki holding Naruto's wrist. "That's strange. It seems like these two have something going on." Sakura thought.
"Sleep well?" Kakashi asked with his single eye smile.
Naruto nodded. "Yeah, I'm fine. After I eat and get a good night of rest, I'll be back at full power." Naruto said with a smirk of determination.
"You know, I've been thinking about this. I understand your orders were to only escort and protect me. But I was hoping that maybe one of you could locate Gato's base and eliminate once in for all." Tazuna said as he placed a piece of meet from his fork to his mouth.
"While I agree that eliminating Gato would be nice. Such a mission would be considered an S rank assassination. It isn't because of how strong he is, but the influence he has." Kakashi said.
"Kakashi sensei, chances are, Zabuza and the tracker is with him. I could probably locate them and eliminate them once and for all. This would let us peacefully defend Tazuna." Naruto chimed in.
"That isn't a bad plan. However, we're already passed our limitations on this. Besides, I need you to protect Tazuna." Kakashi said.
"Huh? Aren't we all supposed to protect him?" Naruto asked with confusion.
"I don't see why you all bother. Gato is too strong! He's going to kill us all anyway." said the voice of the young eight year entering the kitchen.
"Inari, that's enough." said Tsunami as she scolded her son.
"What? I'm not lying. There is no such thing as a hero. Gato is just too strong. I don't see why the bother." Inari said.
"You know kid, I don't expect someone like you to understand what a true hero is." Naruto said.
"My dad was a hero! Look what happened to him! He got killed! You don't understand what it's like to lose someone you care about! If we fight back, then we'll just be killed! You don't understand anything about a hard life!" Inari shouted.
"Universal Pull." Naruto muttered and Inari was sent flying and Naruto caught his shirt in his hand. The blond then proceeded to punch the young boy.
"Naruto!" shouted Sakura but was cut off by the killing intent.
"You're right, I don't know what it's like to lose someone I care about. But to say that I don't know anything about a hard life, you're a fool. Try growing up in a place that's your entire existence. To be turned away from every god damn shop, to be looked at with hatred and disgust by everyone around you. Try being told by the kids your age that you're a monster and a demon. On your birthday, try running for your life and finding a safe place to take shelter. You don't know anything about a hard life.
You're a spoiled brat who is upset that your dad died. Who cares, I've never known my parents. For the longest time, I beleived they abandoned me because I was nothing more than a monster and a demon. You may be coward and let Gato walk all over you. But I'm no such thing. I'll find this tyrant and I'll show him what true pain is." Naruto said as he threw Inari against the wall.
"I'm going out to train. Don't bother." Naruto said as he left and slammed the door.
"Kakashi sensei? What was Naruto talking about?" asked Sakura.
Kakashi looked at his student and gave a sad glare. "Tell me, what do you know about Naruto?" asked Kakashi.
"Huh? I know heis loud and obnoixious and that people don't want him in their stores. He's pranked many people with some ridiculous stunts. Truthfully, I kind of see why the ignore him and constantly glare at him." Sakura said.
Hearing this made Suki stand up. "I'm going out to train. I'll see you guys in the morning time." Suki said as exited through the same door as Naruto.
"Kakashi sensei? Did something happen to Suki?" asked Sakura. Kakashi looked over at his student.
"What makes you think something happened?" KAkashi asked.
"She has been around Naruto a lot latetly. I've known Suki for a long time. She can't stand Naruto." Sakura said.
"Maybe she and Naruto had something in common and that's what sparked their friendship?" KAkashi lazily suggested as his eyes darted towards his orange book.
"What could they have in common? Yeah, they are both orphans. But Suki is from a respectable and honerable clan while Naruto is a nobody. I just can't seem to understand why Suki would stoop so low." Sakura said.
"Sometimes you need to look underneath the underneath. Regardless of the situation, Naruto has been alone all his life. I don't beleive he's ever had a single friend. Suki has had everything in her life, and so have you. You have two parents that love you to death along with having many of the villagers care about you. Suki lost everything. Her sibling and parents. While she may still have the love and support of the village, the people in her life whose opinion mattered the most are gone. I guess she found that Naruto was just like her, in a way." Kakashi explained.
With Naruto
The blond went to a clearing as he decided to vest his frustraitions. "Wood Clone Jutsu." Naruto said as he glared at his clones. "Battle Royal! Last man standing wins!" NAruto ordered the clones began their big fight with each other.
Suki was silently walking as she noticed a particular blond fighting with multiple copies of himself. She couldn't believe the intensity Naruto was going. It was as if the blond was purposly trying to inflict damage on himself.
"Come on, I want you wall to go all out!" Naruto ordered. As the wood clones came charging at the blond, Naruto stuck his arm out and created a sphere of chakra with a white ring around it. "Swift Release - Flashing Sphere!" Naruto shouted and at once, the entire area along with all the wood clones were destroyed.
"Naruto?" Suki called out. The blond turned to face the black haired woman before resuming his original position and created multiple wood clones once more. "Do you want to talk about it?" Suki asked.
"No." Naruto simply said as he used his Planetary Devastation to eliminate the wood clones at once. The memories returned to Naruto as he nearly passed out from the intensity of the jutsu. "Damn, I really put people through that?" Naruto asked himself.
"Naruto, keeping things balled up on the inside isn't healthy. You'll eventually explode." Suki said.
"I'm keeping anything balled up. I'm simply training." Naruto said as he stood back up. However, Suki's hand was on his shoulder. Naruto froze. Unlike most other touches she gave him, this touch was activating his seal on his wrist. In that moment, Naruo lowered his head as tears were running down his cheek.
Suki pulled him in to a tight embrace. "Let it out, Naruo. It's alright." Suki whispered to her blond haired teammate.
Naruto cried his eyes out after releasing all of his emotions and supressed memories. When he calmed down, both he and Suki sat against one of the undamaged trees and talked. The two of them shared their dreams, what drives them everyday, along wit revealing secrets that only the two of them know about each other.
Surprisingly, while the two were trapped in silence, both Naruto and Suki leaned into each other and planeted a soft kiss on each other. The action shocked the two of them but was ignored as the female Uchiha climbed on top of NAruto as they entered a massive make out session with each other.
When they finished, he two fell into a deep sleep. Suki fell asleep on top of the blond and rested her head in the crook of his neck while Naruto kept his arms wrapped around her. Kakashi appeared and smiled softly at the site before them. To see the most isolated and alone people of Konoha, holding each other. It warmed his heart. The masked ninja figured that even though they're only twelve, they were ninja and ninja were considered adults.
He let out a fake cough and the two woke up. Their eyes met each other and a small blush with a smirk formed on their faces. "Glad to see the team bonding." Kakashi said with his one eye smile.
Both Naruto and Suki shoot up with embaressment running across their faces. While they weren't ready for Kakashi's comment, the two of them couldn't deny that their friendship had reached a new level. The two decided to keep quiet about it and let things progress on their own.
"Okay, today's assignment is simple. Suki and Sakura, you'll be training with me. Naruto, you'll be guarding Tazuna on the bridge. Are their any questions?" asked Kakashi.
The three genin shook their heads. Naruto and Tazuna left the house and proceeded to the bridge. As they walked on the path to the bridge, Tazuna kept shooting glances at the blond. "So, um Naruto... How was the training session?" asked Tazuna to avoid the awkward silence.
"It was alright. Tazuna, I want to apologize for my outburst last night. While I don't take back what I said, I shouldn't have done what I did." Naruto said.
Tazuna was shocked to hear the boy apologize. "Don't worry about it. Truthfully, we've been trying to make Inari see that giving up only makes matters worse." Tazuna said.
It didn't take them much longer before they got to the bridge. "Multi Wood Clone Jusu." NAruto said and forty Naruto's appeared. "Alright, you forty will assist Tazuna and his men with whatever needs to be done. I want the fifteen of you to do that. I want another ten of you to mediate. Twelve of you will cover each position around the bridge. If you see anyone engaging, dispel. Finally, I want the last three to work on your chakra control." Naruto ordered.
"Naruto! This is great. With this many, I'll have the bridge done by the end of the week." Tazuna said with delight in his voice.
Naruto smile softly. "Just explain how everything is needed. If you need more clones, please feel free to ask. I'm going to be reading my scroll." Naruto said.
"Of course. If you need my men for anything. Don't hesitate to ask." Tazuna said as he walked towards the wood clones and his men and began giving them instructions.
Naruto was reading a scroll he started writing. He was reviewing his plans on how he could take some of his DNA and implant it into someone else. The former Snake master of Konoha was known for his cruel experiements. Naruto refused to do that to anyone. The blond was set on having all the science figured out and would start on a wood clone. It was also difficult due to his genes allowing for his injuries or any issues inside of his body recovering.
"Maybe Lord Third will let me do some work on the prisoners that are being sent on death row..." Naruto thought as he was studying the breakdown of his own cells. Naruto was able to point out his Senju, Namikaze, and Uzumaki cells. However, their was another strand that didn't match the other three. This caught Naruto's attention as he tried to figure everything out.
