Full Court Pass Chapter 2

Thursday 2026

A week went by and it was nearly our graduation, I walked into a jewelry store to buy an engagement ring for Sasha. She does deserve the best after all.

"Hello, I'm looking for an engagement ring."

The man looked at me and smiled.

"Alright, we have a wonderful selection of engagement rings," he said, walking with me and showing me the engagement rings that were for sale.

Then I found it. It was a large diamond inside it with a silver band. I smiled and pulled out my card.

"I'll take it."

I walked out of the jewelry store with a small bag in my hand. I smiled and went back into the white and red Tesla that my parents bought me two years ago as a present for my birthday.

I was thinking of getting a Pokémon-themed wrap. That'll be awesome. I like the games and the anime is really good, too.

I started the car with the key fob and drove back to UCLA.

I went back to my dorm and opened the door. My roommate, Ben, was at his desk on his laptop. Classes were over, so he didn't have any homework or studying. Ben paused the show that he was watching on his laptop and looked at me.

"Look who's back! Did you get it?" he asked.

I pulled out the ring box from the Kay Jewelers bag. "I did."

"Sweet!" he said excitedly, then his face dropped in concern, he looked like he was worried for me.

"Are you sure you can do this at graduation?" he asked

"I don't know dude, but I am sure, I've been planning this for five months," I said

"Bro, I think that you'll do amazing, I'm very happy for you and Sasha." Ben pats me on the back and hugged me.

"Thanks, Ben, for believing in me." I smiled.

I saw my girlfriend, she was sitting in the library reading. I walked up to her holding a taco that I took from the dining hall.

"Thanks, babe…" she said, smiling and kissing my cheek.

"I love you babe." I smiled

I loved her so much…

Sasha smiled and leaned on me.

"I love you too Sasha.'

She kissed me.

"Man… I just love you so much, babe."

"I love you too, Sasha." I smiled again.

"I have a surprise for you coming up very soon."

"A surprise, I'm excited…" she said

"Yeah, babe. I can't wait…" I said kissing her passionately she broke it.

"You should be… it's a special moment for both of us. I smiled–excited to propose to her at graduation.
