A/N: This is my first fic, so, if it's not all that great, that's the reason. Oh, and the usual "I don't own any of this.." Anyway, I hope you have fun reading this!
Chapter One…
William Turner awoke one fine morning to the sound of a pounding on the door of his house. Grumbling, he slowly got up and answered the door. He found a young boy who looked to be about the age of ten, standing on his doorstep. Will raised his eyebrows in a 'what do you want?' sort of gesture, and the boy responded,
"Sir, Miss Swan has requested me to bring a message to you. She says that she requests your presence at her home immediately, for it is urgent." The boy smiled, and Will handed him a coin for the message. After the boy had left, Will got ready, making sure to be clean for the Governer's daughter. He gotdressed very slowly, and on the way, wlked as slow as possible. It wasn't that he didn't want to go see her...or well, maybe it was for that reason. Elizabeth seemed to want Will to be somebody he wasn't, which will, of course, would not stand for.
As he approached the mansion, and because he didn't know why to expect, he was awaiting the worst. He thought maybe Mr. Swan had passed, or somebody had contacted an illness. He wasn't prepared for this though. The house was in frenzy, the servants were running all over the place, and in the middle of it all, was Elizabeth.
"Elizabeth! What is wrong?"
"Nothing, dear!" she explained with a huge, breathtaking smile, "I'm planning our wedding!"
"What?" Will yelled
"Will, you know you're going to marry me, so I started to make arrangements! We are to be married in a week!" She said firmly, "Unless, you are cheating on me and you don't want to marry me, which would not be a very good thing to do, mind you!"
"How could you ever think of me doing something like that to you?" Will said, blushing a deep scarlet, "I love you more than anything in the world!" When Elizabeth heard this, she started to have doubt. His voice…it was hollow, and empty. There was no emotion behind it, which made her wonder,
"How faithful is he to me?" She glanced over to Will, who seemed to be entranced by a painting of her grandfather, "Well, there is only one way to find out…"
