Chapter One: Captured

"Come on Alexis. We gotta find Rose. She's gotta be here." Ethan says as he and Alexis are walking through a castle's halls.

"Well anywhere is better than back where we were. That was a sick and twisted idea of a game that guy had." Alexis says.

"Just glad we got out of it mostly unscathed." Ethan says as Alexis looks at him.

"Not sure that's what I'd call it. We're alive. That's what matters. Where are we anyway?" Alexis asks.

"I'm not entirely sure. Let's look around." Ethan says as Alexis nods.

"Okay. This place is freaking creepy though." Alexis says.

"Yeah well stay close. I've already lost my daughter and wife. I won't lose my sister too." Ethan says as he walks ahead of Alexis.

"I can handle myself better than you think Ethan." Alexis says as she scoffs slightly.

"I know you can but still. I won't lose anyone else." Ethan says.

"Huh? Ethan did you hear that?" Alexis asks as she stops hearing a noise and turns away from Ethan.

"Don't fool around Alexis. We need to keep moving." Ethan says.

"Ethan I thought I heard something. Ethan? Oh great. Now I've lost my brother. I better find him quickly." Alexis say as she hears no response and sees Ethan is gone.

*Timeskip*

"Where am I? Ethan?" Alexis asks as she is walking throughout the castle lookin for Ethan.

"What's the matter little one? Lose your way?" A voice asks as Alexis quickly stops and looks around.

"Who's there?" Alexis asks as she looks around nervously.

"What's the matter little one? Not happy to see me?" The voice asks revealing to be a girl with brown hair.

"Who are you?" Alexis asks as she gives a worried look.

"Cassandra Dimitrescu. I am one of Alcina's three daughters. Middlw sister to an older Bela and younger Daniela. Shall I give you the tour of my lovely home small one?" The girl asks as she smiles while holding up a sickle.

"No thanks. I think I'm good." Alexis says nervously.

"That wasn't a request. More of an order. Now come here and I won't hurt you as badly." Cassandra says as she begins to move toward Alexis.

"Stay away from me. Ethan!" Alexis shouts worriedly.

"Hmm. So you know that little humanthing? Mother will certainly be pleased. She said he was with another. Didn't think they were gonna be so beautiful. Or delicious smelling." Cassandra asks as Alexis blushes slightly at the comment.

"Oh uh thanks but I should really be finding my brother." Alexis says as she sees a door and begins to slowly move toward it.

"Leaving so soon? But I was enjoying our talk. You do smell so delicious. Though you do have a slightly odd scent about you. I'm curious as to why." Cassandra says as Alexis looks at the door.

"Well sorry to disappoint you but you'll not get the chance to find out why." Alexis says as she begins running.

"I do so love a chase. But you won't get away from me. None of my prey ever do." Cassandra says as she begins to chase Alexis.

"Maybe not but I can try." Alexis says as she keeps running only to get cornered by Cassandra.

"Hmm. You're very fast for a humanthing. But not fast enough to escape me." Cassandra says as she grabs Alexs and throws her at a wal knocking her out.
