A One-sided Noa/Gi Ficlet
There are sometimes when I forget. When I forget how to live, smile, and speak. I'm always alone, even if you're there. Even if the world's there, I'll always be alone. I've never thought about not wanting to forget though. I think it's because that if I did forget I would become someone else.
I'd like to sing for you a love song,

I can remember when I first met you. I was a young girl, almost 12, and you, you were a dark mystery. A mystery I can never solve because you're gone. When the others were asleep I would lay wake and wonder. I would wonder what would have happened if I had met you first, if I was older and more wise. Would things have been different? I guess it doesn't matter though, I'll never see you again.

I'm obsessed with garnets and rubies now, just because they remind me of your eyes. The deepest crimson, like blood almost. Endless pools of blood with fire flickering in their depths. But the gems that hold my obsession can't even hope to truly compare to your eyes. They haunt me, you know. They always have.
