A Young Foreigner
"Sit," Kagome hissed when she found InuYasha digging through her bag.
"Ow! That hurt," InuYasha whispered as he stood up.
"What were you doing in my stuff?" Kagome accused.
"I wondered what was in the box you gave Sango this afternoon," He lied apologetically. He was actually searching for ramnen. Kagome blushed. She had given Sango a box of tampons when she had noticed blood on the seat of her friends' skirt.
"I gave her tampons," Kagome laughed knowing he wouldn't understand.
"What's a tampon?" InuYasha inquired. "And what's in here?" He asked holding up a box of condoms. Kagome blushed even deeper; she had brought them just in case she and InuYasha did it. She could no longer afford the pill.
Kagome was spared answering why she changed the method of birth control by a scream. She said "Let's go see what that was."
Then InuYasha took off in the direction of the scream, but not before getting Kagome settled on his back. When they arrived at the place where the noise had come from they found two men assaulting a young girl. The girl was putting up a hell of a fight.
"Help her," Kagome commanded. InuYasha didn't need further encouragement. He pounced on the men and gave one a good punch. He flew back and landed on the ass. His friend helped him up and they ran like hell.
"Are you okay?" Kagome offered helping the girl up. It was then that Kagome noticed that she was wearing a blue dress that was obviously not from Japan.
"I'll have a black eye but I'll be fine," the girl laughed. Though her Japanese was good she did have a strong accent. "Those guys were wimps."
"Are you by any chance Irish?" Kagome inquired. She recognized an accent that was similar to one of ex's.
"Yes I am. My name is Laura Cahill," she said.
"I'm Kagome and this is InuYasha," Kagome said motioning to the immobile hanyou. He was stunned by Laura's beauty. Her dark brown curly locks were tied back in a ponytail. She was pale with many freckles and her eyes were the color of a stormy sea. Her features were soft and warm. She was a beauty that was subtle and heard to see if you weren't looking.
"What is an Irish girl doing so far from home?" Kagome marved. Then she hissed "sit" because she was sick of his staring.
"How did you do that?" Laura said slightly confused. Before she could answer…
"What the fuck was that for?" InuYasha yelled angrily.
"It's rude to stare," Kagome scolded simply. "So why are you in Japan all alone?"
