YAY! I love TakuRyou! Anyway, here's a little ficlet about those two getting together. They're a bit OOC, but it's all in the pursuit of cuteness!

Takumi looked over at Ryousuke, waiting for the older man to say something. "Takumi, I asked you to come here for a reason..." He began. They were both sitting on the grass, looking out over the countryside around Akagi. "I wanted to ask you...if you've ever thought about being a professional driver."

"What, me?"

"Why not you? You've beaten everyone in the prefecture, and others besides." He hesitated. "Keisuke wants to aim for that. I wondered if you did too." Takumi frowned.

"A professional driver? I've...never really thought about it. What do you think?"

"I think you would beat every other circuit racer and WRC racer out there. But then, I am biased in your favour. Speaking in terms of actual skill, though, you far surpass a lot of the drivers who are currently racing." Ryousuke looked over at Takumi and saw that the younger man was smiling. "Thank you for having such faith in me, Ryousuke-san. But...a professional driver? Me? It's hard to imagine..."

"Why is it so hard?"

"Well...I...guess it's because I've lived all my life as a tofu shop guy. It's hard to think of myself as someone in the public eye..."

"I think you would make a very good rally driver for that reason Takumi. You're not arrogant."

Takumi smiled again and looked over at Ryousuke. "Keisuke said that the other day. But I'm only not arrogant because I have my father breathing down my neck all the time. He could beat me five times over, and I know it."

Ryousuke laid an arm round his shoulders in a strangely affectionate gesture, and pointed out into the night. "You are the prodigy of Gunma, Takumi...you're already in the public eye." He leaned closer, and Takumi stiffened a little, unsure of his intentions. "I don't think of you as a tofu shop guy." He sighed. "Takumi...there is another reason why I asked you to come here...but I'm afraid you won't like it. You see..." He took a deep breath. "I've fallen in love with you Takumi." He closed his eyes, unwilling to see Takumi's expression of disgust. He waited for Takumi to stand up or move away, but he stayed exactly where he was.

"If you're humouring me, please don't. I would rather know."

"I'm not... I'm just not sure what I think of that, that's all." He leaned his head against Ryousuke's shoulder, reaching his hand out to rest on Ryousuke's chest. "How did you know I was gay?" Ryousuke breathed a sigh of relief, opening his eyes.

"I didn't. I was praying."

"It must be a hard thing to confess..."

"No. It's not hard to tell the truth about something like that. It's harder to lie about it...and that's what I've been doing..."

Takumi nuzzled against him and he sighed, laying back onto the grass and stroking Takumi's hair reverently. Takumi traced aimless circles across his chest, then leaned over and kissed him. "You were wrong. I do like it." Ryousuke sighed and closed his eyes, smiling.

"For once, I'm glad I was wrong..."
