Chapter 2: A Blind Date?

Ginny walked into Hermione's dorm and saw her pacing the floor, fuming.

"Calm down, Hermione. Hey, I have an idea. It'll help you take your mind off how stupid Ron is."

"Fine. What is it?" Hermione sat down on her bed with a curious look on her face.

"A blind date. Trust me, you'll like him," Ginny added quickly, seeing the look on her friend's face.

Hermione looked like she was considering Ginny's idea. "Well, I guess it would be ok," she said. "When?"

"Hogsmeade next weekend."

Hermione nodded in agreement. "Sure, what could go wrong?"

Ginny just smiled and went back down to the common room to wait for Harry.

Harry entered his room to find Ron lying on his bed, staring off into space, no doubt thinking about his argument with Hermione.

"Hey, Ron. I have an idea on how to get your mind off Hermione," Harry said.

"Really? What is it? I could really use it," Ron said, sitting up.

"A blind date. To Hogsmeade next weekend. Trust me, I think you'll really like her."

Ron looked mildly interested. "What's her name?"

"Well, if I told you that, it wouldn't be a blind date, now, would it?"

"No, I guess not," Ron said. "Ok, I'll go. I mean, what could go wrong?"

Harry just smiled and went back to the common room to tell Ginny.
