The Sky

One glorious morning Kenshin Himora looked up into the beuituful sky and pondered. " Why is the sky blue?" While he was pondering looking into the blue mass dotted with the white clouds of spring, he walk right into Sano who said a crude remark and asked kenshin why he was staring stupidly at the sky. Kenshin, being the typical guy he was asked sano if he knew why the sky was blue. Sano, being the idiot he is/was(for thoses techinical people who stick to the fact it all happened in the past around 1800 and that's that) claimed it must be holding its breath and sunset/rise were the only times it breathed.

Kenshin thought this rather silly, but went looking for a feather to tickle the sky with to prove him right anyway. On his short trip back to the house he ran into karu who wanted him to help wash the laundry. Karu was also staring up at the sky, " what a beautiful sky we have today Kenshin. Juat like a picture. I wonder who paints it?" after Kenshin finished up the laundry and retrived the feather, he headed for the shack that held the painting suplies.

Yahiko was out in back practicing random sword moves with funny names no one remembers when he triped and hurt his knee. Kenshin came around with the paint and the feather to see if he was alright. Being the cocky little kid he was He stood up and acted like nothing was wrong while blood ran down his leg. Kenshin sighed and turned to leave when Yahiko asked why kenshin was carrying around paint and…. A feather. Kenshin explained his current position and Yahiko voiced his opinion, " I think little men live in the clouds and make sure the sky is always blue and ever now and the take a break at the end of the day. And durring storms the thunder scares them away."

With that in mind kenshin wandered off to the highest spot he could sind to reach the sky, a shrine in the middle of town. At the top of this random shrine he jumped as high as he could and tried to tickle the sky. He came crashing down with no success. Next he tried throwing the paint up. Anyone with half a mind knows what comes up must come down, very hard and fast. Black, blue and red all over he jumped up inhumanly high and fast slicing a cloud. ( no not the one from final fantisy 7 no matter how much us sephiroth followers want it ;P )

He hit nothing and came back down heavy hearted and defeated.

Kenshins hypothisis: The sky was a profesional at holding its breath be cause the paint the little men in the clouds used stank.
