"Unspoken Secrets"

A/N: Nothing special really. Inuyasha is the property of its creators, distributors, etc...I'm just borrowing its characters for the sake of satisfying my creativity. I mean no harm, really, I don't!
So, this is a Inuyasha/Kagome story (From Inuyaha's POV) that lacks romance and fluff, which have been deftly replaced
with contemplation. It's very short, but I think...it works.
And yeah, we know they're meant for each other. This is just my take on his emotions.

Where you are is where I want to be. And nowhere else.
No matter where you go, I will be there. I have no one else to turn to. You're all I have. All I want.
All I need.
With you, my spirits soar. My strength increases. I become determined and hopeful. And everything I see is covered in light.
There, I see only you.
If only you could see. Maybe you do already. But I lead myself blindly. No one must know. Otherwise, our enemies will target you. And then, in that instance, I'll never forgive myself.
I'm always afraid of losing you.
I value your life more than my own. Your welfare exceeds mine. You're the one whose warm smile, whose delicate touch saved me from myself.
This feeling you instilled within me is irreplacable, indescribable. All I know is that it is surrounded in good. Whenever I'm with you, it blossoms. Whenever you're gone, I obsessively want it back. I cannot speak its name just yet. No, not yet. At the end of all things, then you will know.
Until then, I'm honored to protect you, for to protect you is to protect life itself.
Because, you are my life.
