Seven

Prologue

Summary: Seven, is the magic number. Yes it is, it's the magic number.

Disclaimer: We're only going to say it once, so get it through your thick skulls! J.K. Rowling owns all things Harry Potter and everything within it. In other words, what you recognize, J.K.R owns. What you don't recognize, Sam and me though it up.

Author's Note: Ahaha! I get to put the prologue up! Go me. And Sam, I don't think you'll see it and eight tonight, its all ready past seven and I just finished my language arts project. Maybe you'll see it at ten. I'm out, Ya'll! All right, sorry, next note. I, Katie, am in Italics. Sam is regular. Got it? Katie. Sam. Katie, Sam. Get it, got it, good!

For the dreams that are left behind, are the dreams that you had always been reaching and wishing for.  I just wrote that.

All right! Getting on with it…

Many relationships start out with them being friends. Others, more rare, start out with hatred and go to lovers. And even though many relationships don't turn out right, writing the ones hat do last are sometimes the hardest to write. Love, love lost, betrayal and loathing are just some of the emotions coming into play. But, seven will always be the magic number.

Seven symbolized many things for our four characters. After all, what could me more magical then their seventh year? Lily, James, Remus and Sirius. Hatred and friendship. But the last thing they expected was love.

For once in a lifetime, a person finds the love of their lifetime. Well, that might be the wrong person for them. You're heartbreaks, but you move on. As said the midget in Moulin Rouge, "The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love, and be loved in return." And, they will love, and they will be loved in return. Its how life works. And besides, if Lily and James never fell in love, then there would be no Harry Potter. If there's no Harry Potter, than we would still be clueless muggles, oblivious to the other world. And that would such, would it not?

And what of Remus and Sirius? What would they do once their two best friends abandoned them for each other? Remus would pull inside himself and Sirius would take it out on other kids. Could Remus tame Sirius's heart? Could Sirius break Remus from his shell? Is it possible for the two left behind to love each other? We're about to find out.

Well, er. That went faster than I expected really. I started at seven o' one. It's now seven sixteen. Damn, I thought I was a slower writer than that. I guess I have no excuse now but to do the rest of my homework. Damn you Sam, for not making the prologue longer after you left my house about a month ago! Darn you!

That was the shortest goddamn thing I have ever written. And I am so sirius. I mean serious. Yeah, I meant serious. I have got to stop with those bad jokes. Ughh….

So, read and review, if you don't mind! And if you couldn't all ready tell, this is a LilyJames, and a RemusSirius, but we decided this morning that we would have to put a person from both together so that we could actually be fair to the readers. So, if you found this, then hopefully I have put it successfully under James and Remus.

I'm ranting. I'm out. If ya wanna read my stories, my name on my own is Panting Slightly. Sam's is Kryptnite Wings. Ahaha! My ranting, as per usual, made the chapter longer! Oh I rock! Guys, know that just because this prologue is short, doesn't mean the chapters will be short. Mine on average are ten pages or something. Okay, I'm out. Ltr! Katie.
