CH. 1 I left my text books at school! (A/N: Normal POV)

It was a regular day at high school for Lina, a girl with moderately, yellowish blond hair and hazel-green eyes. As usual she would go to her classes like always, dreading the classes that made her life miserable, and staring down her rival, Wufei, in the halls and gym. As the day ends, Lina prepares to go home when she is interrupted by none other than Dorothy, the school's news reporter.

"Hey Lina, I have a question to ask you," Dorothy said in her usual snobbish tone. "What is it?" asked Lina, exasperated, "I'm trying to get ready to leave." "I just wanted to know if you could ask Heero Yui about the new security system the school has installed." As innocent as the request sounded, Lina was suspicious and on guard. "Why do you want me to ask him?" she asked, still not trusting the long haired blond. "Well, I didn't want to disturb him while he was busy, heh heh." The American girl retorted at the response, raising an eyebrow, "In other words, you're afraid of him and I'm the only one who can get close to him." "…ummm…..right!" Dorothy chirped. "Ok, so why didn't you ask Duo?" the blond American asked. "Because Duo already left the school grounds," the pathetic reporter answered. Lina sighed in frustration knowing that she would have to do something so lame that she can do anytime at her own time. She decided to just go home and forget about the whole thing.

"Finally," Lina said as she enters her house. "Lina, I'm going out to dinner with Zechs tonight. Will you be alright by yourself?" Lina's older sister said aloud from upstairs (A/N: Lina's older sister, of three years, named Jade, who takes care of her. Nuff said, back to story.). "Yeah, I'll be fine. You just go on that dinner date of yours. It's not like I'll get into trouble." the blond said with a confident smile on her face.
