AN- Hello everyone. Thank you to my reviewers. Sorry it took a few days to update. I am trying to update every other day. Enjoy….
Disclaimer- I don't own Harry Potter. I just own a few of the minor characters.
Attention all students of Hogwarts, School of Witchcraft and Wizardry,
There will be a Hogsmeade trip Saturday. Be ready leave directly after breakfast. Third years and up are permitted to attend these trips. No one under that will be allowed to go. Also, only those students who have turned a permission slip in will be able to go.
Your Head Boy and Girl, Hermione Granger Draco Malfoy
Hermione read it one final time before posting it on the bulletin board in the Great Hall. She was excited about the upcoming trip. She always had a lot of fun. Plus, even she had to admit that it was nice to get away from her studies once in a while.
Hey Granger said a familiar voice from behind her. She turned and looked into the simmering silver eyes of none other than the Head Boy himself.
"Hey yourself, Malfoy." (They always called each other by last names in public.) She tired to keep a straight face, but was fighting a losing battle. She immediately let a smirk form on her face. No matter how good of an actor she was, it was hard to act like she hated this boy, when in reality she kinda liked him. "What do you want?"
"I need to talk to you about our special assignment later, Granger. So, I will meet you in our common room at 4 o'clock." he said in a snooty/disgusted voice.
"Fine, now go away!" she said, laughing to herself.
*************************************************************
At 3:53 that day, Hermione was running down the hall towards her common room. She had lost track of time in the Library. She was going to be late to meet Draco unless she ran.
Not paying attention to where she was going, she slammed into someone heading the other direction. They both fell to the ground. Papers flew everywhere, both his and hers. "I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention to where I was going." she said before she even looked up.
She heard a chuckle coming from the boy she had bumped into. She looked up and saw none other than Draco Malfoy. She also saw the trademark Malfoy smirk plastered to his face.
"Oh, it's just you, I officially take back me apology." she said with a smirk plastered across her face that was almost identical to the one on Draco's. "I thought that it was someone important. I was apparently wrong." she joked.
"Ha, ha, ha. Very funny. Where were you going anyway?" he asked as if he didn't already know the answer.
"I was actually on my way to our common room to meet your stupid arse." she replied. "It's almost four, is it not?"
"It is, but you have one little problem." he said with a huge grin on his face.
"And what, pray tell, is that?" she asked.
"You walked past on common room entrance about ten steps ago." he replied.
She turned around and looked behind her. Sure enough, there was the portrait of the Dragon. She turned back to Draco blushing fiercely. "Oh, I guess I wasn't really paying attention. I didn't want to miss our rendezvous." she said sheepishly.
"I was headed there too. May I have the honor of escorting you, milady?" he asked as he offered her his arm.
"That would be nice, good sir." she answered as she threaded her arm though his and they walked to the portrait hole.
When they arrived at the door Hermione and Draco both said, "Marshmallow" at the exact same time.
They climbed into the portrait hole and walked into the room. When Hermione was sitting down in front of the fire, Draco began pacing the room nervously.
"What's wrong, Draco?" she asked as she watched him pace back and forth.
"N-nothing. I just wanted to ask you something." he replied, never missing a step.
"Well, what is it?" she asked.
"Well, I was wondering if you would like to spend Saturday with me at Hogsmeade?" he asked. Hermione was about to answer when he continued. "I mean, we could tell people we have Head Boy/Girl stuff to do. You don't have to if you don't want to. I just thought that we could have fun together. You know? We have always had a good time talking, I mean I have at least--"
His voice trailed off when he felt lips gently caress his. When the lips he stared up at Hermione. "What was that for?" he asked.
"I had to shut you up some how. I would love to spend Saturday with you. I have always had fun with you, and I know we will have a good time again." she said. "I was wondering when you were finally going to make a move."
"Really?" he asked.
Hermione nodded as she felt a blush rise up her neck to consume he cheeks. She refused to turn away though. She faced him and met his eyes.
"Good," he said, "What do you want to do when we get there?"
"Because there is this new bookstore I wanted to visit, but other than that…."
"Well, there is this new bookstore I wanted to visit, but other than that…." she said at the same time as Draco.
"Wow, that seems to be happening a lot lately." Draco thought out loud.
"Yeah, weird huh?" Hermione said.
"So, can I take you to, ummm, lunch in Hogsmeade? There is this fancy resturant there that I would like to take you to. I think that you would like it." he said as he took a seat on one of the couches.
"That sounds wonderful. I never knew that you were so romantic, Draco." she kidded.
"I'm not, that is your imagination." he said as a blush rose up to his cheeks.
Hermione laughed and lightly punched him in the arm. "No denying it now. I know all your secrets!" she kidded.
He suddenly jumped up and started running towards her. When she saw this she started to run. He chased her around the room for a while before she got tired and stopped to give up. Unfortunately for her, before she could say anything, he tackled her and pinned her to the ground.
He stared down at her for a moment before he slowly leaned down and kissed he gently on her cheek. She smiled up at him, and he took this as an invitation to kiss her on the lips. So, he leaned down again and kissed her on the lips.
After a few minutes they broke their kiss and Draco looked at Hermione. "I still got you pinned. I could ravish you right now and you could do nothing about it." he said.
"Oh yeah? Why don't you say that again when you look to where my knee is, Draco Malfoy." she said. He looked down and sure enough her knee was only inches from his groin.
"Okay, easy now. I was kidding." he said, still not moving off of her.
"Good, because you would be sorry." she joked as she stared into his silver eyes. "You know, you have the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen?"
"Yeah, I know. They are pretty wonderful, aren't they?" he joked. "You know what?" he asked.
She shook her head and said, "Nope. What do you think?"
"I think that you have the most beautiful body that I have ever seen." he said in the most serious voice he could.
Hermione's smile suddenly faded. "What did you just say?" she asked.
"I was kidding! I think that you have the most beautiful brain, body, eyes, teeth, hair, hands…" his words were cut off when Hermione interrupted him.
"Cut the crap, Draco. You are full of it!" she said. But Draco once again leaned down and kissed her.
