Chapter 25 (second half of 24)-
AN- I am so glad that everybody liked chapter 24. I liked it a lot myself. Draco is soooo sexy!!!!!!!!
There is a new fan fiction site being created…it is going to be Draco and Hermione world! It won't be finished until April 21st, but I am really excited…they asked me to join and I did. It will only be Draco/ Hermione fics and I am so excited! You should all check it out. I will post more info later, now it is not active. Look out for more info.

~Last time.
"So, how are you?" Hermione asked Blaise, trying to break the awkward silence.
"Umm, fine. My date is out there dancing with each and every guy she can. She is weird. I don't know why I asked her." he began ranting.
"Blaise. Calm down. We have to go. It was good talking to you, bye." Draco grabbed Hermione's wrist and pulled her towards Dumbledore. They needed to get started setting up for the costume contest.

Draco and Hermione found Dumbledore talking to Professor McGonogall toward the front of the hall. They walked up to them and Hermione said, "Professor Dumbledore? I was wondering if you could make us a runway and stage next to the stage with the band?"
"Of coarse, Miss. Granger. Just have all of the students move out of the way and we will do so immediately." Dumbledore replied with the usual twinkle in his eye.
"Thanks." both Draco and Hermione said at the same time. They went to where the stage would be and began telling students to move to the other side of the room. Soon after, a stage with the curtain drawn, and a runway with lights appeared. Hermione grinned at Draco as the climbed onto the stage to get everything ready. "This is going to be great!" Hermione said backstage.
"Yeah, let's go make the announcement and then come back here." Draco replied.
"Okay."
They walked through the curtains each with a microphone in hand. Hermione raised her microphone to her mouth and said, "Attention! Can I have everybody's attention, please?"
The music stopped and everyone turned to Draco and Hermione. "Is everybody having a good time?" she said into the mic."
The hall burst out in applause and obvious approval. "Okay, okay. Calm down. We are about to start the costume contest. If you would like to participate, come up and sign you and your partner up. You must be a fifth year or higher and you must have a partner that matches you to enter the contest." Draco said into his mic.
"Yes, now come and sign up." Hermione said as she put her mic up and walked through the curtains. Draco did the same and followed Hermione through the curtains. "Hey baby. Wanna make-out?" he asked.
"Draco!" Hermione said in a mock shocked voice.
"Come on, just one kiss?"
"Okay, one kiss, but that is all. I do not want someone to come back here and find us in a compromising position." Hermione said.
"Good." He said as he walked to her. When he was only a few feet away he put his arms around her waist and pulled her closer. He lowered his head to meet her lips. She wrapped her arms around his neck and stood on her tip toes to meet his lips in the middle. He wasn't much taller, but tall enough that they both had to bend or stretch. Hermione stretched as far as she could, but his lips were hovering over hers. Draco waited a few seconds before letting their lips connect in a skin-tingling kiss. Hermione's head was spinning and her legs began to turn to spaghetti. She was sure that she would have fell if it wasn't for him holding her up.
Everything around them disappeared. All they could see, all they knew was each other. Each others touch, each others lips, each others warm body. They were both weak in the knees and their heads were spinning with the thrill of the passionate kiss. Draco suddenly pulled back for a quick breath before capturing her lips in yet another deep, loving kiss. Draco's kisses were addictive. Hermione found herself kissing him back with so much passion that she knew she couldn't say no to him now.
When Draco finally pulled back again, they both took deep breaths and looked into each others eyes. Draco gazed into her dazed, dreamy brown eyes. He searched them, and all he could find was love. He knew that she loved him and that she never doubted that or him. She trusted him with her heart and at that moment, he vowed that he would never break it. He loved her too.
"We better go." Hermione said, pulling him out of his reverie.
"Okay, let's get this show in the road." Draco replied, offering his arm to her.
Hermione slide her arm in his and they walked through the curtains once again.
They picked up their microphones and walked over to the left side of the stage. They looked at each other and Draco nodded for Hermione to start. "Welcome to Hogwarts' first annual Halloween Costume Contest!" Hermione said, bringing everyone's attention back to them. "Let's get started."
Hermione looked offstage to see if the first couple was ready and then continued. Hermione was going to call the name of the people and Draco was going to say what they were dressed as.
"Our first couple is Jimmy Hammons and Tavia Henderson." She said.
"They are dressed as Peter Pan and Tinkerbell!" Draco continued.
Jimmy and Tavia walked onto the stage and they were greeted with thunderous applause. They walked up they runway, bowed and began to walk off the stage again.
"Our next couple is Gregory Goyle and Millicent Bulstrode."
"They are dressed as Mickey and Minny Mouse."
The hall burst out into hilarious laughter at the odd looking couple, but none the less, they clapped.

Ron Weasley and Susan bones as Romeo and Juliet.
Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley as Anthony and Cleopatra
Blaise Zabini and Kiara Jenson as Frankenstein and Mrs. Frankenstein.

"The next couple of the night will be Dean Thomas and Pavarti Patil" Hermione said.
"They are dressed as Hercules and Megara." Draco said.
Then, Dumbledore walked onto the stage and took their microphones. Draco and Hermione walked through the curtain and Dumbledore started talking. "Attention students, we will have one more couple tonight, but first I would like to make some announcements." Dumbledore said. The students immediately quieted and turned their attention to the headmaster. "First, I am glad that everyone is enjoying themselves tonight. Our head boy and girl did an excellent job and I am excited to see what will happen at our Valentine's Day Ball." The students heartily agreed as they cheered and clapped, but they were soon quieted once again when Dumbledore began talking. "Second, the winners of this contest will be announced tomorrow at breakfast. And finally, our last couple is none other that the Head Boy and Girl themselves. They are dressed as King Oberon and Queen Titania." he said as Draco and Hermione floated in from either side of the stage. They were both glowing once again. Their wings were fluttering gracefully, giving the illusion that they were really flying.
They met in the center of the stage and flew out over the crowd. They took each others hand and continued flying over the amazed crowd. As they flew over people, pixy dust fell from their free hand. They did two laps around the Great Hall before landing back on the stage.
The Great Hall was silent for a few second before it erupted with loud applause. Everyone was screaming and clapping as Draco and Hermione took a bow. Then, cat-calls began rising above the applause. (For both Hermione and Draco) Everyone, including most teachers, seemed very impressed with their show.
Hermione and Draco took their mics and Dumbledore calmed the crowd. "Thank you everyone. All of the costumes were excellent and the everything went smoothly. I hope you all enjoy yourselves and I hope everyone enjoys the rest of the dance. Party time!" Hermione said as the band started once again.
Draco and Hermione waited for everyone to start dancing again before they went back down to the dance floor. "You know what?" Draco asked Hermione as they began dancing to a fast song: Boys and Girls, by Good Charlotte.
"Hmm?"
"You are the most beautiful girl in the entire world!"
Hermione blushed and turned her head away. He turned her head back to him and planted a feather light kiss on her lips. "I love you." he whispered into her hair.
"I love you, too."
Then a new song came on the radio: If Your Not the One by Daniel Bettinfield…
If you're not the one then why does my soul feel glad today?

"It's our song, will you dance with me?" Draco asked.
"Of coarse." Hermione said, and they did.

"Draco, this has been one of the best nights of my entire life. We did such a great job."
"Yeah. It is pretty awesome. Way better than that ball fourth year."
"Yeah, that year I dated…" her voice trailed off.
"Who?"
"Nobody."
"No, tell me."
"Krum."
"Victor Krum?!"
"Yeah. He liked me a lot. He even scked me to go to Bulgaria with him over the summer."
"Did you go?" he asked, a hint of jealousy in his voice.
"Yeah, but I was only there for a few days. He tried to take advantage of me on like the third day. Instead of trying to kiss me first, he jumped on me. I left after that."
"Oh, what an arse."
"Draco. It's over. I broke up with him and I came home and got over it."

The rest of the night went off without a hitch. Hermione and Draco danced the whole night and when the dance finally ended, Draco carried his sleeping queen up to their quarters. Then they got in bed and had a peaceful, content sleep.
