Chapter 31-

AN- I wasn't going to post again this soon, but there were sooo many questions about the last chapter that I decided to go ahead.

Enjoy…I will try to answer all of your questions in this chapter.

By the way, dee of slytherin, thank you for the criticism, but I have my reasons for things I do. If Draco and Hermione weren't a little out of character, this would not be the romance story I want it to be. As for Dumbledore…he could have said that for the benefit of the students.

Hermione and George got outside and he was smiling radiantly. "How are you feeling?" he asked.

"Very moody."

"Moody?"

"Yeah. Like I am happy one minute, raving mad the next, then sad."

George was puzzled then it clicked. 'Oh no, the water.' he thought as he stopped walking and turned to her. "Did you drink any of Malfoy's water?"

"Huh?"

"Did you drink any of Malfoy's water?"

"Yeah, why?"

"Oh, 'Mione. I am so sorry."

"What are you talking about, George?"

"Well, Fred and I…spiked Malfoy's drink. You seem we were making a new potion for our joke shop and we thought we would try it on him. We had no idea that you would drink it too." He replied quietly. "I am really sorry."

"You what?!" Hermione yelled. "What is this potion supposed to do?!"

"Well, it is supposed to make the person who drinks it have mood swings. It is only supposed to last a half an hour."

"Oh no! Draco and I…the fight…" Hermione said as she turned and ran back to the house.

George was left standing there. He knew that the affection that she showed him was only because of the potion and this made him sad.

Hermione ran into the kitchen, only to find Draco gone. She immediately turned towards the stairs and raced up them. When she arrived at their room she heard something that sounded like glass breaking. Hermione slowly opened the door, barley dodging a vase that was flying at her head.

"Draco!! Stop, please. We need to talk." Hermione said. He was obviously still consumed with anger and she didn't want to start another fight.

"What is there to talk about?! I saw you kiss that red-headed git!" he yelled back at her.

"Draco, listen to me. The water was spiked. Fred and George out a mood potion in it. I didn't know I was kissing him. We were both under the influence of the potion."

Draco, who was about to through something else, stopped in mid-motion. "What?"

"Fred and George were playing a joke on us. Neither of us meant what was said or did. It was the water." she said calmly.

"It was?"

"Yeah. I'm sorry for all of those things I said, and for kissing George."

"You are?" he said, the anger slowly fading away.

"Yes, of coarse I am. I would never do anything to hurt you. You know that."

"Yeah, me too. Now, we definitely need to get those two twin gits back. They could have ruined our relationship."

"I agree. What do you suggest?"

"Umm, I dunno. Let's discuss it later. Right now I am in the mood to make up." Draco said suggestively.

"Sounds good." she said as she walked slowly towards him.

Hermione and Draco spent the next twenty minutes snogging n Hermione's bed. They were suddenly distracted when they heard Mrs. Weasley's voice carry from down stairs.

"RONALD WEASLEY! WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM!!! HOW COULD NOT TELL ME THAT DRACO MALFOY WOULD BE STAYING HERE??! I 'BOUT HAD A HEART ATTACK WHEN I SAW HIM!! WHAT WERE YOU THINKING THAT YOU WOULD ACCOMPLISH BY NOT TELLING ME?!" There was a pause before Mrs. Weasley spoke up again. "ANSWER ME, RONALD WEASLEY!!!"

There was another pause, which had to be Ron answering her. "THAT IS NOT A GOOD ENOUGH REASON! HOW COULD YOU?? GO TO YOUR ROOM AND DON'T COME OUT UNTIL I TELL YOU IT'S OKAY!!"

Draco and Hermione's door suddenly opened and Harry walked in. There were tears in his eyes and he was doubled over laughing. He looked up at the two people laying on the bed in a very compromising position. It was obvious that they had been snogging, and Harry turned bright red.

Hermione and Draco immediately pulled apart and straightened their clothing and hair. "Harry, what happened?" Hermione asked as an effort to break the awkward silence.

"Ron didn't tell Mrs. Weasley that Draco--"

"I know that. I meant, why was the train delayed?"

"Oh, well someone set off like fifty dung-bombs off in the train. We had to wait for it to be aired out and cleaned before we could leave."

"Really? I bet that sucked."

"It wasn't actually that bad. We got to go to Hogsmeade while we waited. I got most of my Christmas shopping done."

"Oh, cool. You have to hear what Fred and Geor--" Hermione's words were cut off by a pale Ron entering the room.

"Hi." he croaked out as he took a seat on Draco's bed next to Harry.

All three of the others tried to contain their laughter, but when Harry let out a snort it was over. Hermione, Draco, and Harry burst out into hysterical laughter.

When Hermione regained her composure, she looked up at Ron. His face was red with anger as Draco and Harry continued to laugh. "Ron, why didn't you tell your mum?" she asked, only half serious.

Ron took a deep breath and the other two boys quieted to hear his answer. "I tried, but pig got lost and I got the letter back." he said through gritted teeth as he tried to contain his anger.

Hermione burst out into laughter once again, causing Ron t grow ever madder.

"It's not my fault! Pig is a bloody stupid owl. He can't even find his way back to his own damn house!" Ron yelled as he turned and left the room.

Between laughs, Harry said, "He'll be fine. He just need some time to cool down."

When they were finally done laughing ( a good fifteen minutes later) Hermione and Draco told Harry what had happened to them before he got there.

"Really? You guys really need to get them back."

"We plan to." Draco said.

"Good. Can I join in? I have been wanting to get them back for all of the tricks they played on me."

"Sure, but we don't know what we are going to do yet." Draco said.

"Well, we'll have to think of something later. I'm starving." Hermione said.

"Me too. We never got to eat earlier." Draco said

"I know, we got in that fight before we ate anything."

"Well, what are you two waiting for? I'm starving too." Harry said from the door before he turned and walked out of the room.

Draco and Hermione immediately got up and followed Harry down stairs.

Later, after they had eaten and made up with Ron, they went into the main room to watch a movie. Draco was amazed with the funny box that Hermione and Harry kept calling a T.V. Ron told them that his dad had bought it off some other ministry wizard. Ron's dad, being obsessed with the muggle world, had bought it and magiced it to work without electricity.

Ron picked out four movies and held them out. "Which one do you guys want to watch?" he asked.

Harry and Hermione examined the movies and finally decided on The Fast and the Furious.

They all settled on the couches and watched the movie. Hermione took a seat next to Draco while Ron and Harry sat on the couch next to theirs. During the entire movie, Draco and Ron's eyes wee glued to the television. When it was over, Draco turned to Hermione with a look of utter amazement in his eyes. "Muggles made those?"

"Yes, Draco. Not all muggles are as useless as you think." Hermione replied.

"That is the coolest invention ever! It's bloody brilliant!" he said with a look of utter delight in his eyes. "I want one."

Hermione giggled and rolled her eyes. "Those cars are way cooler than the one Harry and I stole second year!" Ron said energetically.

Hermione's face turned into a disapproving look as Draco's eyes widened. "The-Boy-Who-Lived and his sidekick stole something?" he asked in an overly dramatic voice. "I am so disappointed."

"Yeah, we stole it because your house elf wouldn't let us through the platform to the Hogwarts express." Ron said through gritted teeth, his temper rising.

Draco fused his eyebrows together, but decided that it wasn't important and dropped the subject. "I was only kidding, Weasley. Get a grip." Draco said easily.

Ron rolled his eyes and turned to Harry. "What should we watch next?"

"Umm, how 'bout Urban Legends?" Harry suggested.

"Sounds good to me." Hermione said as she snuggled closer to Draco.

"Put it in, Harry." Ron said, handing him the movie.

Harry chuckled and walked over to the VCR. While he was putting the tape in, Ginny walked down and decided to join them. "Hey guys, mind if I stay and watch a movie with ya?"

Harry turned around and grinned. "Sure you can. You can sit by me."

Ginny blushed and sat down where Harry was sitting just a few seconds before. Soon, Harry joined her and the movie started. Harry and Ginny snuggled, Draco and Hermione snuggled and poor Ron was left to sit alone.

Hermione had seen this movie before, but it still scared her. She, along with Ginny, would let out quiet squeals when something scary would happen. Hermione clung to Draco as did Ginny to Harry.

When the movie was over, they decided to go to bed. Hermione and Draco walked to their room and quickly changed into their PJ's. (Draco in the bedroom, Hermione in the bathroom)

When Hermione came out of the bathroom, she saw that the beds were no longer on opposite sides of the room. They were now pushed together in the middle of the room. Draco was already laying in bed, reading a book. Hermione grinned as she walked over to Draco and snatched his book. Hermione looked at it and saw that it was, 'Hogwarts, a History II' She sniggered before tossing the book onto a nearby desk and climbing onto the bed. "There will be no reading tonight." she said, seductively. His eyes brightened as he thought that he was about to finish the snogging secession they had started earlier. Hermione yawned and laid down on the bed with her back to Draco. "Night." she said, trying to hold back a laugh.

"But--"

"Shh, I'm really tired." she said as she pulled his arm around her waist and relaxed again the cotton covers.

Draco was disappointed at first, but soon he pulled her closer and fell asleep.
