Chapter 35-

AN-Sorry I didn't update the last few days…I went out of town to take placement tests for college…boring…anyway, here it is…Happy reading…

"Now, do you remember what happened to you?" Dumbledore asked when he saw the she was awake.

Hermione closed her eyes and tired to think, but she couldn't remember anything. She opened her eyes after a few minutes, and looked around the room. The memories flooded beck to her and she immediately scanned the room for Draco. She found him laying on the couch across from her. Panic spread across her face as she strained her eyes to see if he was breathing.

She watched him for several minutes before she turned to Dumbledore with pleading eyes. 'Don't let it be true. He can't leave me…' Horrible thoughts were running through her head as Dumbledore seemed to understand the look in her eyes. He put a hand on her shoulder and smiled, eyes twinkling. "He's fine. He is just asleep."

Hermione looked up into his eyes for conformation before smiling. "Thank Merlin. I was so worried." she said as she tried to sit up.

"It's okay. You need your rest. You got quite the bump on your head."

"Okay. Thanks." Hermione said as she began closing her eyes.

"May I have a minute before you go back to sleep, Ms. Granger?"

"Sure, what is it?" Hermione asked as she opened her eyes and looked at Dumbledore.

"We wanted to know what happened to you." said Ginny.

"Yeah, you were unconscious before you could tell us." Ron finished.

"Oh. Well, I guess I should start with when Ginny and I went shopping in Muggle London…" Hermione told them the whole story, from meeting the boys to where Harry, Ron and Ginny found them. "The thing that I don't understand is, how did they know that we were going to be on this cruise?"

"I believe that I can answer that." Ginny said quietly. "I told them. David asked me, and I told him. I didn't think it was a big deal. I am so sorry, 'Mione." By the time Ginny was finished with her little speech, her eyes were clouded over with tears.

"It's okay, Gin. You couldn't have known. It all turned out fine." Hermione said as she patted the girls hand lightly.

"So they were just muggles?" Dumbledore asked after a moment of silence. Hermione and Ginny nodded. "Well, I have to say that I am very surprised. It was my intent for you all to have a nice, relaxing journey, but it appears that isn't so. I am sorry."

"Don't worry about it." came a voice from the couch across from Hermione. Everyone looked over to a smirking Draco. "I think that it is very relaxing to kick a few muggle's arses."

Hermione rolled her eyes, but couldn't hide her smile. "I am glad you are okay Draco, but you are still a big headed git." Hermione joked as she finally let the smile shine through.

"I am glad that you are okay too, you bushy-haired, know-it-all." Draco retorted with a laugh.

"Well, I am glad that you are both okay." Dumbledore said.

"Dumbledore, I was wondering, why are you here?" Hermione asked.

"Oh, well I stopped by to see how everything was going. When I got here Ginny ran into me, Harry was carrying an unconscious Draco, and Ron was carrying you. I asked them what happened, but they said that they just found you guys laying in the middle of the hall." Dumbledore replied.

"Wait, you found us where?" Draco asked Harry.

"In the hall. Why?"

"We weren't in the hall. We were in that guys room." Draco said in a confused voice.

"No, you were in the hall wi--" Harry began, but he was cut off by Hermione's explanation.

"Draco, we were in the hallway."

"I don't remember walking out into the hallway."

"You didn't. I carried you…until I collapsed, that is."

"You did?"

"I did my best. We had to get out of that room, and I couldn't leave you alone to get help."

"Oh-"

"Well, I am glad that you are all good. I must be off. I have to take care of those boys. Have a good vacation." Dumbledore said as he left the room with a wave.

"Bye." they all said as the door closed behind him.

"I wonder what he is going to do to them." Hermione said.

"I dunno." said Draco.

"Well, I think that you two need some sleep, and we have lots to do in the morning. So, why don't we go to bed." Harry suggested.

"Good idea. I am beat." Hermione said as she tried to stand up. She got into a standing position and immediately fell. Harry caught her right before she hit the ground. "Thanks, Harry. I guess that that took a lot of energy out of me."

"Here. I'll help you." Harry said as he picked her up and headed towards her room.

"Wait for me." Draco said as he tried to get up and tried to followed them. He hobbled, but fell just like Hermione.

"Here, I'll help you." Ginny said as she bent down and helped him up. He put his arm around her shoulders and they hobbled into the bedroom after Harry and Hermione.

"Well goodnight everyone. I'm going to go out on the deck for a while. See you all in the morning." Ron called after them before slipping out the door.

"Goodnight guys." Hermione and Draco called to Harry and Ginny.

"'Night." they called back as they entered their own room and climbed onto their bed.

The next Day

Hermione, Draco, Harry, and Ginny were walking along the deck in search for a certain red-headed boy that had not returned the night before.

"Where could he be?" Ginny asked.

"I dunno. We have been searching for like an hour." Harry replied.

"Oh Harry. I am so worried about him. I mean I know that he said he was going for a walk, but what if those guys found him and did something to him." Ginny said in a clearly panicked voice.

"It's okay, Gin. We will find him. How about we split up. Hermione and Draco will go left and you and me will go right. We will meet on the other side. I am sure that one of us will find him." Harry said as he took Ginny's hand and led her off to the right.

Ginny nodded and followed him.

"Come on Draco. We have got to find him." Hermione said as she pulled him to the right.

Harry and Ginny

"Ron!!!???" Ginny said as she ran over to a boy with red hair that was laying out on the deck next to a girl. "Tayler?????!!" Ginny said when she saw that she was the one laying next to Ron.

"Ginny?" Ron said as he let go of the hold he had on Tayler's hand.

"Ronald Weasley!! What are you doing?" Ginny said in a very Mrs. Weasley voice. "We have been out looking for you all morning!!" She yelled. Then in an quiet, friendly voice she said, "Hello Tayler."

"Ginny, how are you?" she asked.

"Fine." Ginny replied before turning back to Ron. "Well?"

"I have been here. With Tayler." he replied

"Oh. Why?"

"Well. I went for a walk last night and I found her standing by herself. We started talking and the time just slipped away from us."

"Oh, well…don't do it again. We were all worried about you." Ginny said in a very motherly voice.

"Alright, Mom. It won't happen again."

"So, what did you guys talk about?" Harry asked in an effort to make conversation.

"Well…stuff…Iaskedheroutandshesaidyes." Ron said quickly as his cheeks turned a deep shade of red.

"What?" Ginny and Harry asked while Tayler just giggled.

"He asked me out." Tayler said between giggles.

"..and she said yes." Ron finished.

"Yes. I said yes." Tayler said as a bright blush crept up her cheeks.

"Oh, Ronnie. That is so cute!!!" Ginny said as she leaned forward and gave him a huge kiss on the cheek.

"So, where are Draco and Hermione?" Ron asked as an effort to change the subject.

"Oh no! We forgot…they are still looking for you!" Ginny said as she ran off towards where they were supposed to meet Draco and Hermione.

Ron, Harry, and Tayler exchanged surprised looks before following Ginny. When they finally caught up with Hermione and Draco, Ginny said, "We found him. He was out getting a girlfriend."

Just then, Ron caught up and glared at his little sister. "Funny. It was not my intention to get a girlfriend when I went out last night. It just…happened. Tayler and I have a lot in common." he said sheepishly.

"You going out with Hines?" Draco asked.

"Yeah. I found her standing alone on the dock yesterday and she was crying. She told me that it was because seeing Draco again brought back bad memories. I comforted her and told her your side of the story. She says that she is sorry for jumping to conclusions. She was just so scared when she woke up that she didn't know what else to think." Ron finished just as Harry and Tayler finally caught up.

Draco and Tayler met eyes for a minute before Draco walked up to her and took her hands in his. "I didn't have anything to do with it. I promise." he said so only she could hear.

Tayler stared at him for a few minutes before giving him a weak smile and nodding. "I'm sorry for assuming that you did."

"Don't be. I can't blame you…I used to act a lot like my dad as far as intimidating people." he said, still to quiet for anyone but Tayler to hear. "That experience changed me a lot. I want you to know that if it weren't for that, I wouldn't be here today. I am just really sorry that my dad did that to you."

"Well, I am glad that something good came of it." she said with a smile. "Now maybe I can come back to Hogwarts and we can be friends. If you want to that is."

"Are you kidding?! I am so glad that we are okay. I have been dying to apologize to you since the day you ran away!!" he said as he uncharacteristically picked her up and swung her around before pulling her into a tight un-Malfoy hug.

"Hey now. Why don't you let go of my girlfriend." Ron joked as he tapped Draco on the shoulder.

"Right." Draco said as he let her go and turned back to Hermione who was smiling brilliantly. "One word and I will never talk to you again!" he said as he watched her try to suppress a giggle that he knew was on the verge of bursting from her mouth.

"What?" she asked.

"Don't act all innocent. I know you, remember?" he said as he pulled her to him and put a possessive arm around her shoulder.

"Well, now that we are all finally together, what do you guys say to breakfast?" Harry asked as he intertwined his rough, calloused fingers with Ginny's small, soft ones.

"Great idea! I'm starving!" Ron said as he grabbed Tayler's hand and pulled her towards the ships dining room.

"He will never change." Hermione said as she rolled her eyes and let Draco pull her after the others.
