As an Elleth trying to help save Middle Earth, I was far too busy to be looking for romance. Despite this, I ended up finding it with someone I would never have expected. A few hundred years into the Third Age, Lord Cirdan of the Grey Havens sends an elleth named Elluin and her family to Greenwood the Great to make their home under King Thranduil. They bear a prophecy that hints at fruition when Elluin, now a servant in the palace, finds herself falling in love with the troubled Elvenking.
