The Mystery of the Emeralds
Chapter 1:The Last Day
It was a sunny day in June.Harry was going to spend his summer at the Weasley's.He was happy that he would go away from the Dursley's.The last day of torture came….
Harry woke up with a strange dream in his mind-he had been dreaming about Hermione,who had a rose and two emeralds in her hand.He was supposed to choose one of the objects.
He got dressed and ate something fast.Then he went into his room and looked at a photo of Hermione and Ron.
"I miss you,guys!I can't wait till tomorrow…" he said.
He heard aunt Petunia:"Harry Potter!Come down this very moment,young man!"…When Harry entered the living room,Petunia said,"What did you do with my poor flowers?They are all DEAD now!And the dishes in the kitchen…They are dirty AGAIN!
"But I didn't do any of this!I Promise!Maybe Dudley and his friends…I was in bed all the night," Harry answered."Impossible,"screamed aunt Petunia."He is a good boy!He isn't like you.Besides,I locked the door to the kitchen and the one that goes outside.No one could enter there…only with magic…"
Harry became angry and left the room.He didn't want to hear anymore.He only wanted to remember one thing:TOMORROW HE WAS GOING TO RON'S HOUSE AND SPENDING HIS SUMMER THERE!
He didn't eat lunch,but instead went for a walk in the town.Harry was thinking about his favourite game,QUIDDITCH.He was thinking about how he would play a QUIDDITCH game with Fred,George and the other members of the Weasley family.
Harry thought about his love,Hermione.He couldn't wait untill he would see her at the railway station.For a moment,he forgot about the accident with aunt Petunia.He was thinking only about his world,the world of wizards and witches.
Harry went back.He wanted to watch the evening news on TV.Maybe something strange had happened,like last night.
"Now,the news of the day!",said uncle Vernon."I can't wait!The results of the football match that was played yesterday will be announce."Harry watched the news quietly,but nothing strange had happened.
"Dinner is ready,my boys!Harry will have dinner in his room,"said Petunia.Harry went to his room,ate his food,and he decided to do some of his homework for the summer.
When he finished his assignment for "Potions",he fell asleep.The boy dreamed two emeralds again,but this time,they were shining on a pillow.Some snakes were guarding them.Suddently,a big bird showed up,took the emeralds,and gave them to Harry(How strange!).
Harry woke up with a smile on his face."Today is the day,"he said.Harry packed his things,got dressed,ate something and waited for the Weasley family.
At 11:15 AM,the members of the family were in front of the door."Good morning,Harry,"said Ron,very happy.Then they went to the car and,in a few minutes,they were on the way to a PERFECT summer holiday for Harry.
