The Lone Bow Man (original).
There he stood on a hill,
The bodies of his companions
All around him.
Arrow notched,
String pulled back.
He has his target in sight.
Arrows raining all around him,
Not one hits their target.
He pays them no heed.
All the cares about
Is his target…
The leader.
With one deep breath,
He lets the arrow fly,
It flies straight and true and pierces the heart of the leader.
The leader is,
Dead be fore he,
Hits the ground.
The battle seemed to freeze.
His opponents looked around
To see where the arrow came from.
Then they saw who did it.
The lone bow man,
Who stood on the hill.
Then the orcs screamed in rage,
For they thought there leader,
To be indestructible.
But the lone bow man,
Who stood on the hill,
Proved them wrong.
Another arrow flew through the air,
Followed by more,
In different directions.
The orcs were outnumbered,
They fled with fear,
With out looking back
At the lone bow man
Who stood on the hill.
Grieving the lone bow man
Fell to his knees
Saying a prayer for his friends and companions.
Truth be told
The lone bow man is no human
But an elf.
Prince
Legolas is his name
His friends and companions
Were apart of the Royal Guard.
"Fare well my friends."
Was the last thing he said
Before his rescuers took them away.
