Summary: Buffy reflects on a very annoyingly cute cryptic guy that seems to show up whenever she needs help.
Genre: Romance.
Timeline: This is set before the beginning of BTVS episode 'Angel', 1x07.
Author's Note: This doesn't fit in my rewriting series or my long story. It's just a cute little piece that I needed to pour out. Please review. And wait patiently. The next installment in 'Rewriting The Love Story' and the next chapter of 'Children Of Darkness' will come soon.
Torn From Heaven

"Angel", Marilyn said happily to the girl who was looking at the dog nestled to her chest. Buffy looked around, whipped by the power of that name. "Her name is Angel. Isn't she lovely?" Marilyn kept saying, oblivious by the turmoil that name had put Buffy on.

Angel.
It was a female name, yet it fit him so perfectly. Ever since their second meeting, at the door of the Master's lair, she couldn't put that heavenly name into a woman. Not when she knew a man that had it.
Angel.
Angel.
He was the first thing she thought when she woke up and the last when she went to sleep. When she went to patrol, she wanted to meet him. When she went to the Bronze with her friends, she wanted to see him. When she was at school, she wanted the day to be over soon so she could have the chance of seeing him.
In resume, she just wanted to see him.
Every time.
Everywhere.
He was really an angel, torn from heaven, cast away from paradise, and she marveled at his nearness. Whenever she met him, she felt bubbly and alive. Whenever he spoke to her in that sweet, velvety voice of his, she wanted to turn into a puddle of Buffy-goo.
The bell rang signaling the end of one more school day, and she smiled.
Maybe tonight was her lucky day, and she would see him, and would want to drown into those big, fathomless chocolate eyes of his.
THE END.
