Title: Sue of the Sea
Word Count: 315
Rating: G
Pairing: Nobody/Sue
Notes: The first paragraph was very hard to write because that many words just should not be devoted to describing one person. And I was only able to do it with massive help from my thesaurus.
Disclaimer: Not mine
She was floating, on what looked to be the wreaked remains of a ship, off the starboard side of the Going Merry. She was astonishingly stunning. She had vast, luminous heliotrope orbs which seemed able of knowing all your dreams with one look. Her lengthy tresses were of a lustrous cerulean, and perfectly molded into soft curls. Her skin was fair, with only the barest trace of color to her cheeks, and she smelled of lilacs.
Luffy thought they should let her join the crew, as she was sure to have a lovely singing voice.
Zoro thought she looked strong, and that he was sure to have to beat her before he could be the best.
Usopp thought she was obviously intelligent, and pictured her smiling in agreement to one of his tales of the Great Captain Usopp.
Sanji's eye went heart shaped and flew out of his head, his thoughts going with it.
Nami thought that this particular species needed to stop reproducing so fast, as it was the third of its kind they had encountered that week.
With a sigh, Nami finished screwing together her staff and sprung into action, thrusting its tip into Zoro's back. She then moved herself a safe distance away from the impending brawl, and waited.
Zoro, not having time to brace himself for the unexpected attack from behind, rammed into Sanji, who stumbled into Usopp, who knocked into Luffy, whose hat went flying off his head and toward the edge of the ship.
"What the hell are you doing, Nami?"
"Don't speak to Nami-san like that, Bastard!"
"My hat!"
"Luffy, careful, you're going to fall…overboard."
With her guys too occupied with fighting and rescues (of treasured possessions and sinking captains) to worry about the jetsam, Nami changed their course, and added a note to her map, to warn others of the danger in the area, 'Here Be Sue'.
The need to write this was sparked by reading a story summary in which Luffy thinks about picking a girl over his dream. Sues are a growing evil in every fandom, but the thought of One Piece being infested with them makes me ill.
