A/N: Hey was up people. This is just a little thing I wrote. It's Rikku' feelings over the events of the past 2 years or so. Hope you enjoy. Oh and by the way it takes place in the oasis at Bikanel.
RIKKU"S CONFESSION
It's early morning and I calmly sit here in the sand.
So much has happened to me in my short life.
There's ben so much hatred and loss.
I feel proud to have helped end that pain and suffering.
I've ended it twice.
You would probably think that life has been glorious. Right?
Wrong.
Only one person has really gotten the recognition for this.
That person is my cousin Yuna.
Wait I should change that.
We've all gotten some recognition.
Yuna's gotten the most, then everyone else that helped her, and then me the Al Bhed.
The Al Bhed are always the last ones to get recognized, unless of course we're being blamed for something we didn't do.
Now your probably thinking, why complain? Celeb. life isn't all that it's cracked up to be.
But that's not the point, the point is that my people have either always been hated or ignored.
And all because we didn't follow some stupid teachings that turned out to be false.
Go figure.
And yes I can say "my people" my father was and kinda still is the unofficial leader of the AL Bhed.
So I guess that kinda makes me and 'Al Bhed Princess.'
But I guess I can't really complain.
Life has improved greatly.
We're not as hated as we were.
People are starting to like us again, we don't get ignored or shunned any more.
My boyfriend, Gippal, has even started his own business, called the Machine faction.
They fix and build things.
Anyway after we defeated the last major threat, Vegnagun, the person my cousin was in love with returned.
You see he was a dream of the faith and he disappeared after Yuna sent Sin te farplane.
Well now they're back together and still madly in love.
Our new friend Paine has even seemed to have found a boyfriend in the Praetor, Baralai.
So for now life is all well and fine, and finally there is peace my life and in the rest of the world.
But who knows how long it will last, one thing I can guarantee is that my cousin and I will always be ready to take on whatever comes our way.
Spira, bring it on.
A/N: so what did you think? Was it boring, cool, pathetic or what? Please let me know. Oh and this has nothing to do with my other story, Trouble for the Al Bhed. In case any one was wondering.
