It's been a year since she left them behind, a year since she left him. It didn't matter though. Nothing did. Raven thought about this as she went to meet her new boss. She had left in a whirlwind of dark emotions including regret, anger, and annoyance. She stopped in front of a huge door with an s on it. "Come in" he said, His chilling smooth voice washing over her. It was normal though, this odd feeling she got when he talked. It was like waiting for a bomb to blow. It never did, not once. Raven never hid her annoyance of that fact away. Even if she didn't want it, she knew people, what they were thinking, how they act and respond to things. With Slade it was different. He was a mystery. He was always calm, never loosing his temper, or showing anything but that stupid black and gold mask. It didn't matter though. Nothing did. That's why she left them. Raven was tired, didn't want to think anymore.

When you're at Slade's everything's calm, chilling, and eerie like the man himself. Everything is calculated perfectly. Everything is practiced to perfection, and raven now being his new apprentice had to be calm, chilling, and eerie. It didn't matter though, that came naturally. She walked in calmly, something that she did even before she betrayed them and went to Slade. "Tomorrow is the final battle; I assume you're ready to show your old friends how much you hate them." "Yes" I replied. Words weren't really necessary with him. It seemed he loved to talk but only if it's to taunt robin. It amuses him how much he and robin are alike. He just loves watching robin get so mad, nearly shaking from rage, disgust, and hate. I just stand back was he calls him. Yup, loves watching him get all riled up over one call. "Hello robin" I hear him say. I don't listen to him talk. I just looked into the faces of my old friends?...no they were teammates, nothing else. They still think it's against my will. They still think I'll make a heroic escape and come back to them. The day they realize raven's gone for good will be the day I truly hurt them. Show them my potential power. It doesn't matter though, nothing really does.
