His gold clawed hand slowly and gently ran through the thick, short, black hair on her head. Her breathing had slowed down and she was currently using him as a human pillow.
Vincent Valentine looked down at the sleeping form of Yuffie Kigarashi. 'I am a pedophile….'
' Not true.' Came the pleased voice of Chaos.' If you're a pedophile then so am I.'
'You can't help being a perverted minded asshole... She's just a young girl….'
'Who is of legal age? So why do you feel guilty? She wanted it just us much as you.' Chaos was quiet for a moment,' or did you not enjoy it. Would you have preferred… I don't know………Cid?'
Vincent's pale skin turned a slight shade of green. 'If you ever mention that again…'
'You'll what? Kill me? That would imply killing yourself was well dumbass.'
Vincent internally sighed as Yuffie nuzzled her sleeping head against his bare chest.
'I'm not deserving of her.'
'Yes you are.' For once Chaos voice didn't hold sarcasm. 'You're a very blind person Vincent. You make her very happy. She loves you.'
' Lucretzia loved me and look where she ended up.' Vincent sighed outloud.
'That wasn't your fault.' The demon's voice sounded sympathetic in Vincent's head.
' Maybe. Maybe not.'
"Quit it." Yuffie groaned and lift up her head to look at Vincent through sleep covered eyes.
"Quit what?" Vincent asked softly, his good hand gently stroking her cheek.
"Arguing with Chaos. And don't say you aren't. Your upset, your heart beat is different, it's the one you have when you're upset. "Yuffie grumbled and once again her head used his chest as a pillow.
Inside Vincent's head Chaos was laughing.
'She knows you better than you think.'
'Shut up.'
"Both of you shut up and go to bed or no sex for a month."
With that physical and mental silence falls in the room as everyone finally submits to sleep.
