Chapter 1: Prelude
After being mauled by a tiger, Ranma was about to embrace the darkness of defeat when he heard a rumbling. He looked over and saw that a hole was being dug from the ground up. The hole began to expand when all of a sudden, a small man came out. This man in proportion to a cat was 1/8 the size which is about the size of one of its paws. The small man introduced himself as Kami and that since his death was very unexpected, he would be able to live if he became a Kami. He would never die or be able to die but since he is not mature enough, he wouldn't be able to truly be called a Kami until his twenty-first birthday. Ranma agreed and his mind was quickly taught the true Neko-ken before a light appeared in the wall. That hole was the result of a boulder being moved out of the way unsealing the entrance. Ranma got up and looked himself over seeing no scratches anywhere on him. Ranma walked out of the cave with a smile on his face. When Genma asked if he mastered Neko-ken, Ranma nodded and they walked to their next place.
5 years later-
Ranma and Genma were heading to the next place on their journey and it happened to be Tokyo, Nerima district. Genma was surprised that it only took five years to train Ranma in anything goes. Their speed was doubled so they didn't spend much time in any place. Ranma was still clueless to why he had to leave his friends but disregarded it. Ranma was being trained so he thought he would see him again. Right now, Ranma had other things on his mind. Like why does Ranma have a fiancé here and exactly how does he have a fiancé. When Genma replied that he was honor bound to marry a Tendo, Ranma lost it and attacked his father. All of a sudden, a light but quick shower covered the area, activating Ranma's curse. A frustrated scream could be heard all over Nerima but disregarded it thinking it was Akane again. Ranma thought about one thing about his past. It was a warning by Kami that said that he will be able to use all his powers but he would have to train them. Ranma jumped at his father planning on finishing him off real quick then heading back and when he thought Genma was down, he was hit with a stop sign and went limp. When Ranma came to, he was being held prisoner by Genma, which looked weird because he was in his Panda form.
