A fact is a simple statement that everyone believes. It is innocent, unless found guilty. A hypothesis is a novel suggestion that no one wants to believe. It is guilty, until found effective.
Edward Teller
Chapter 2-
"'Mione?" Harry stumbled down the sidewalk "Why … why did you keep that from me…" He then yelled out his frustration to the skies, a few people turned to watch the humorous event. Harry gave off an angry drunk aura having little to no balance and dark bags under his eyes. Stress bags, stress that everyone seemed to know about Draco. Stress that Draco didn't want to be found.
Why was Draco so determined not to be found? Did Harry do something incredibly stupid and not remember?
No, he'd remember something that critical.
Genny hurried into the Burrow's kitchen gathering her coat and files. Hogwarts was now her new home. Since the old professor of charms retired, Genny took over. With her new job came new information, information of children showing magical traits.
However the newest information was something to a shock to her. She had to go and see Hermione about it. That was the real reason she was going over to her brother's house that day. Not just a friendly visit indeed.
The youngest Weasley stepped into her parent's chimney and yelled out Hermione's new address. Within minutes she toppled out and onto Hermione's living room rug.
"Genny!" She was brought back up on her feed and was embraced tightly in a hug.
"Hermione, I have something to tell you." Genny held out the folder with the going to be newest Hogwarts' students files inside and said sternly "It's about, Draco."
Harry walked into Hermione's kitchen tired and dazed. "Why didn't you bloody tell me?" He said in a growl. His eyes were covered by his uncontrollable hair while his face was lowered. He was trying his best to understand but really couldn't capture the concept of it all.
"Harry!" Both girls squeaked shocked to see him home that early. He usually went to the ministry for a few hours to clear his head with more work. He was slowly turning into Hermione and her workaholic lifestyle.
"Why the hell didn't you tell me you found him!" Harry blurted out in a rage. His eyes aflame.
"Harry! Harry wait, I just found out myself. Just now! Genny, she has something-" In spite of this Harry had cut in again. He was blinded in his fit and didn't quite get why Hermione suddenly didn't know anything.
"What! Genny! It has nothing to do with Genny!" In his blindness Harry marched to the table and slammed his palms down in front of the two girls. "I'm sick and tired of this Hermione." He drawled "I'm tired of being in the dark all the time! Do you know who I ran into today?" He said a disgustingly sweet tone. "Of course you don't. I ran into pansy." He grew louder "Pansy! In 'The Slytherin Princess', Pansy! With her son. Draco's son." He drawled out his mate's name for importance. Harry then started to shake lowering himself down onto a chair. The information Pansy had given him was weakening him severely. "'moine please, tell me the truth. What came back, what information did you get with the search warrant?" His voice was shakey and hints of tears could be seen through strains of his hair.
"Oh Harry. I… The warrant came back three months ago. It only found a trace of Draco's magic. No him Harry. But that doesn't matter now." She said gaining more confidence but still lacking the strength in her voice. She rubbed her arm and looked over at Genny. Before Harry could protest against her last statement, Hermione spoke up again. "Harry, Pansy's child... isn't the only child Draco has." Her voice kindly. She knew something. Harry could sense it in her sickening sweet voice that make Harry want to yell even louder.
"What!" He asked in a low hissing growl. Sirius was more alive in him now then ever before.
"We" It was Genny who talked now. "We know where he is, or at least his children." Genny watched Harry keeping eye contact. Over the years she found it easier to speak with an angry or depressing Harry by intense eye contact to show she was strong enough to handle his pain. "He has two of them. Twins, a boy and a girl." The youngest Weasley pushed a file towards Harry "Open it." She commanded lightly.
Harry did what he was told and quietly flipped through the papers. "These… These kids, they're his?"
"Yes"
"They're beautiful." He said in a soft voice gazing down at two pictures of five year old children in Sunday school clothes. He was surprised that his temper had cooled down just by a glimpse of their faces.
The first picture was of a light auburn haired girl. Her hair was pulled into sloppy pig tails and she was wearing a green sun dress. Harry wouldn't have guessed it was Draco's child if it wasn't for the girls piercing silver eyes. Draco's eyes. The next picture was of Draco's son. The boy's silvery blond hair was messy and covered emerald green eyes. Harry's heart raced. Those were Harry's own eyes.
"Genny!" He rushed to look up at her.
She was smiling gently and nodding. "We saw that too. We have a clue to why they're like that." Genny looked over at Hermione who was grinning knowing that Harry would have been happy about that.
"Genny, Where is he now?"
"I don't know Harry. Hogwarts only tracks down children who show magical potential and where it happened."
"Then where?' Harry insisted on getting the information. He stood from his chair "When did they show they had powers?" He was rambling and he knew it. His words were falling over the next as he tried to make sense of the situation. Over the past five hours Harry's world went from worst to positively great. And he consistently wanted to keep it that way.
"Well Harry you must remember that when Draco doesn't want to be found, he won't be." Hermione reminded him.
"Yes I know 'mione."
"His daughter was the first to show. Three weeks ago. In Germany. We weren't the first to find out about her." Genny said folding her arms over her chest and peering over the table at the now calming Harry. "We found out about his son yesterday, in Manchester."
"Harry, only three months ago Draco was in Aix. We don't know how long he plans to stay here in England." Hermione stood up and moved to put her hands on Harry's shoulders. "Or how long he has already stayed here."
"Then I'll just have to hurry and find him!" Harry locked eyes with Hermione hoping to all hope that she had any information he could go by.
