Revelation
Summary: The Scene in "Pariah" from Chloe's POV. Drabble.

Chloe didn't think she would ever breathe again.
She sat there, still as stone. She was almost disappointed with herself for not figuring it all out sooner. But she knew that, in some ways, she'd known all along.
Staring at the spot where Clark had stood only moments ago, Chloe wondered why Alicia had chosen to expose Clark's secret to her. Then she decided it didn't matter. It had happened – what happened next was up to her.
For the briefest instant, headlines flashed through her head. She wouldn't do that to him, though. She couldn't.
Slowly, she began to breathe.
