Fred's Last Moment

"I've loved you since I known you. No, that's not- maybe even before." Wesley said. He was laying down beside her on her bed. Hoping that Angel and Spike could get to the Deeper Well before she……..no, she wasn't going to die.

Fred leaned her forehead on his and said. "I'm so sorry."

"No, No, No." Wesley said trying to soothe her.

Suddenly she starts to cry, and said, "I need you to talk to my parents. They have to know I wasn't scared, that it was quick. That I wasn't scared." Just then she started to convulse on the bed. "Oh God."

"You have to fight it. Just don't talk, concentrate on fighting. Just hold on!" Wesley grabbed her shoulders. But Fred knew otherwise. She could feel this was the end, and that she might not ever see Wesley, her true love, ever again.

Holding on to Wesley's shoulder, looking into his eyes, shaking.

"I am not scared. I am not scared. I am not scared." Fred knew this was a lie. She tried not to be scared. She tried not to be scared when she was stuck in her cave. If Cavemen and Astronauts got into a fight, who would win? She knew this answer. The answer was, Cavemen. They would have been smart enough to stay in their caves. She wish she was there now.

"Please, Wesley, why cant I stay?"
