As the moon rose over Tokyo, a lone figure stood atop a building, black trench coat billowing in the wind, waiting for it's prey to come out into the open. Suddenly, a young man in his twenties dressed plainly in jeans and a white trench coat stepped out of the building the figure had been watching. Bingo.
The figure, a male of thirty two with mismatched eyes followed the man in the white trench coat unnoticed until they reached a secluded spot. He noiselessly approached as his prey light a cigarette and took a long drag. "Good evening, Subaru-kun," the man greeted. He then reached out kidnapped Subaru's cigarette, and placed it into his own mouth.
His prey, Subaru-kun, said nothing and made no motion except to draw a pack of Mild Sevens from his pocket and tap one out. The other man had pulled out a lighter, and Subaru allowed him to light his cigarette. For a long while, the two men stood smoking.
"It's chilly tonight," the older man said at last. "Perhaps we could go somewhere warmer? I know a bar around here if you're interested."
Subaru simply inhaled another breath of smoke.
The man moved closer to Subaru until their faces were scarcely an inch apart. "It's rude not to answer when someone asks you a question," he whispered.
The young man sighed. "I decline." His voice was monotone, as if refusing the offer was taking up too much of his strength for him to put any feeling into the reply.
The other man smirked. Quickly, he grabbed hold of Subaru and brought his lips down until they met a similar pair. He kissed Subaru hard.
At first, Subaru was in a state of shock. There was no way this could be real, but even if it was a fantacy, he decided to go with it. When he finally moved to kiss the older man back, it was full of desire and pent up emotions beginning to break through.
It was at this moment that the other man broke the kiss off. "Good night, Subaru-kun," he murmured and slowly faded away.
It was then the man knew that Subaru loved him back. It was then that he knew that Subaru didn't wish him dead. The man had always been selfish, though. To be killed by the one he loved most…
It was what the man wanted.
