Truth
Of course it was just a ploy. A trick. How could she have been taken in so easily?
"All that stuff you told me about being so alone –" She spat the word disdainfully.
Danny begged her to believe. "All that was true…."
The only truth here is that I can't believe I fell for all those crazy lies.
But she couldn't help reflecting that the look on his face, the pure anguish in his voice, seemed so real. If she hadn't known better, she might have believed him.
Glad she knew better now, she only turned and walked away.
A/N: I have no idea why I wrote this (I didn't even care for the movie that much, just this part), except to say that the plot bunny attacked and, well….:shrugs:
